This place is so screwed up its not even funny. All these piss ant guests with nothing better to do that sit around and harass actual members of the chat, calling out racial slurs and other bigotry and they can't even be permanently ignored. The power of a mod is a joke because they can't ban, like muting or kicking a person for the above mentioned is going to make them better behaved people. I've been asking to be a mod for a couple months now but every time I try to mentioned it I'm either ignored or given some lame ass excuse. I'm here during the late hours and wouldn't mind keep the chat more fun and friendly as it was supposedly meant to be but either no one in admin cares or its just not that important to them. The place isn't fun at all and seriously needs a mod/admin overhaul. And guest profiles need to be gotten rid of. its just sad that any anonymous idiot can come on and make chat life miserable for others and they can only be ignored for that particular chat session and once they leave and come back in they have to be ignored again. This needs to be fixed, and people caught dishing out racial slurs and asking for sex with minors need to have their IP's recorded and reported to the authorities. Ya'll get this **** fixed.

Ex mod here, It's a chaotic room. And the stupid guest, omg, I know how you feel. It would be calmer in there if they removed the guest function. But register users harass too. And the vip members too. It just not good as it used to be. Now it's trolls/spammers/and pedós vs. mods and @Samwise

But real life is better than the Internet. (Maybe take a break from the internet once a while lol)

1. Being able to mod doesn’t make a quality mod.
2. Guest accounts are not going to go away.
3. I can’t speak for general chat but in gay chat we actively report to law enforcement. The justice system is not a fair or speedy system. Agencies that focus on internet crimes are severely understaffed and their means are slim. We take blessing they do catch the creeps that they do!
4. The answer to a rooms problems is not to kick everyone out.

I would take a break from the internet if I had anything else to do in my life that I had the energy for. Anything else that used to be considered fun or play, just seems like more work and stress and I don't have any real life friends.

even video games have become more work than fun, but I guess I have a couple I could delve into. I could stand to put some more effort into reading. My book is about ready to be sent out for formatting so that I can publish it.

This isn't going to fix or change anything so long as the admin has their hands tied and can't give the mods the control they need. @Samwise and I don't always see eye to eye but the problems are not all with in his power to fix. The ******** in General Chat are as chaotic as a bag of slapped dicks.

Like I said, I applied, properly, months ago and I've chased your around the forum and in chat and you've mostly just not answered me. I offered what most people don't want, to do a little baby sitting at night to keep the assholes in check. But apparently the so called rules that are in place are only there for show, and that shows when the ass hole people come on and there's little to be done about it.

The fun part about all this is some of you aren't reading my original post with any sort of comprehension. Some are expressing concerns about mods who can't discipline themselves enough to admit they have a problem of their own, and finally, I'm not looking to be "hired." I just wanted the ability to keep chat from being flooded with these assholes and bigots that bully everyone else and make chat a miserable place to be. It can't be that hard to mute or kick people for their sins against the more well behaved ********. I will say, that I've seen 3 mods in this room, and there are still people who harass others and nothing is done about it. Tighten up and care about others a little more, or take the rules down and let everyone run around like chickens with the heads cut off.

Submitting a request to become a Mod does not automatically guarantee you a shield/title.

Close, but no cigar.
1.Yes, the room sucks because the limits, and/or the efforts of some mods are small.
2.An overhaul of mods/admins means paying more focused attention and giving the mods that come in more power to handle things better, and on a more permanent basis, such as banning. Every single person knows that if a person can find a way to come back and piss people off, they're going to. Why not deal with things the right way, the first time, and be done with it. I've dealt with these kinds of people and still do. They don't change.
3. Why bother ignoring someone, and most of the time a guest, when by the time they notice they've been ignored they'll just create a new profile and come back and continue whatever nonsense they were on to begin with. Which is why the guest function needs to go away. Its abused. Otherwise, yes, I have ignored actual members that I don't like.
4. I've reported countless ********, and again since IP's aren't banned, they just come back with a different name and keep on with their nonsense.
5. There's only emotion here is asking for better effort, and seeing a refusal to do so.

2. Admins being able to ban is sufficient enough, really.
3. If guests are rolling names/IPs to get out of your ignore list, reach out to a Mod (if one is on) and report the chatter. If one isn’t on, shoot @Samwise a message here on forums.

I don't care about being paid and neither should anyone else. I doubt very seriously that you'd let the same nonsense that goes on in the chatroom, go on in your daily life. You'd say or do something about it, and no one gets paid for that either. Its why the world is in the sorry state its in is because no one steps forward to bullies and asshats the way they should. And no, admins ability to ban is not enough, unless you're going to have one per room monitor the place, but then again with that you might as well just do away with the mods. There's not a single mod in the gen chat right now and you got some idiot posting links to child sex chat and porn. Go figure, hmm...I wonder if there'd any one who'd be willing to do anything about that...oh, gasp...here I am! (Since I'm here most of the time)

You’re arguing in circles.

Every Mod does something about whatever issues arise in the room, and there is, at least, one Admin per room.

I trust when I log in there will be a report from you? Also, see how easy it is to report issues? Next time, message a Mod or the Admin like I suggested in a previous response.

Crazy (but not surprising) to see @TheLeigh and @Samwise arguing and belittling a chatter who frequents the room just because they want to help improve the overall atmosphere and give suggestions.

No wonder the place is filled with parasites and is always toxic. It’s own admin and moderator enable and encourage it with their own behavior consistently.

Yes, General Chat sucks. There are a lot of pedophiles and pedophile defenders in chat. One particular user, Loki, was busted for chatting inappropriately with underage girls. The mods will probably delete this to hide the truth and protect Loki. There are also the defenders of Loki, users such as: TonyMT, Penguin, Chelle, Jose, PhillipJFry, Sozzyuk, aurora. These users should be ashamed of themselves for protecting and defending Loki. They deserve to be exposed to me. Anyway, just putting it out there.

PhillipJFry is one of the biggest peophiles out there. He used to come into girls chat always looking for minors until he got caught andran back to general chat. He still does lurk in girls chat at times under a different name .

I don't know if PhillipJFry is a pedophile or not, but he's for sure a pedophile defender. He defended Loki when Loki was exposed for chatting with a 14 year old girl in main chat. PhillipJFry and the other users I listed above are the defenders of Loki and his actions. They would rather protect the pedophile than the innocent kids that Loki preys on. It's sick and the pedophile defenders need help just as much as the pedophiles do for condoning their actions.

And, even if you can't ban Loki for being a pedophile, when the proof is there and he has had multiple accusers. He should at least be banned for homophobic slurs and threatening to kill another chatter.

He shouldn't be muted non stop either when the old creep starts threatening to kill people. Jose is a sh*t mod who defends him and he's the only user he mutes and doesn't kick. As soon as Loki comes off ignore, he goes right back to threatening people or saying slurs, then gets muted again. Anyone who feels sorry for Loki like Jose does, is not a good person.

Refer to my post above. Users such as Jose, Chelle, TonyMT, Sozzyuk, Penguin, PhillipJFry, and aurora all defend Loki for his actions. They all deserve to be shamed for defending Loki. Jose would rather protect the pedophile than innocent kids.

Boba Fett personally I disregard anything you type out of habit. You're a POS human that's gone from room to room posting inappropriate, private photos of female ******** for over a year now (bet ya hate that you can't post em and delete em now) and by all accounts you were a terrible mod as well. I follow the rules for wmk when I deal with any chatter unless I have a good reason to or I've been given specific instructions per @Samwise. What are you even talking about? I posted one photo in Singles and that was it. We all know the story on that and since then her and I have had a truce.

I was a good mod, HR even said so and asked if I'd be interested in being am ADMIN when he retires. You're a garbage mod who kicks everyone but gives Loki special treatment and defends his behavior of befriending minors. You seem like an enabler, and the fact you try to justify 60 year olds befriending 13-16 year olds speaks a lot about you.

Jose is either a pedophile himself, someone in his close family is, or he knows someone who is. That has to be my conclusion as to why anyone would defend a pedophile. The reason he disregards us is cause he knows it's true but won't admit it. He protects Loki. Other mods like Leigh hold Loki accountable for his actions. I wish every mod was like that.

A simple question with a simple answer, go up to anyone and ask them if it's okay and normal for a 60 year old to have mostly friends who are teenagers, you know what answer you'll get.
 
Oh, I thought he was 60, not like it changes anything. Normal people actually talk to kids differently, sort of talking to then like they're babies. I can't imagine feeling the need to befriend a kid and hold the same conversations you do with an adult.

Most people who see what he types wouldn't need proof to have their conclusion unless they needed him banned. The way you're defending him tells me you'd need video proof.

How can you NOT tell someone is 14? Why even put yourself into a situation by talking to someone who you're not even 100% sure is an adult? You should be able to tell when someone is 14 simply by looking at them and seeing how they talk.

That mod, is responsible for having no less than 6 creeps banned this week alone. Loki has been a user here for 10+ years. Not one mod in general chat, or one prior admin has ever claimed he was a creep. If you have proof to the contrary- send it to my inbox please; @Mr. Jose

In any event if you think you going to endlessly slander staff here- (ie make baseless accusations without proof) you are mistaken. Take your drama to EE where the trolls can feed- there is a Loki thread there I think also.

Ive sent the proof already. It's here in the threads. It's a simple click and all the screenshots pull up. I don't get what's so hard about that. I'm slandering people who stick up for piece of **** humans. Notice I didn't go after every mod.

And by the way, it's not baseless. There's a literal screenshot in the link I sent where Loki threatened to shoot another user in the head. How is that acceptable?
