I have a recommendation how to piss off much less users. I will talk from my personal experience, even when I know that happened to many.

issue 1:
Threads are mostly closed without reaction from room admin. @Samwise is cool guy, he had no problem to re-open the issue when I asked him - but I think we should make it more clear about the process. I think it makes no sense to close mod complaint - just with the reply of that specific mod on which is the complaint aiming, or with message "it is a long time after your punishment". I think admin should always reply, even with simple answer like "complaint rejected - or complaint has been actioned this way...". But always being clear that it is closed and how.

issue 2:
When mod complaint is made, even well addressed and verbalized, it always happens that trolls like @Screem @Princessa @Camp Real etc. attack the thread with BS, completely de-rail it. Often happens that @DynamicDylan come into that saying some nonsense like "Thread is de-railed, contact me in DM, pls close." I don't see reason, why admin can't read original thread post + mod answer -> and make a judgement. Nobody is forcing him to read all the sh!tstorm.

issue 3:
Admin is not reacting, or completely de-railing the problem himself. It is happening repeatedly. He will ignore the most valid arguments, and twist some out of topic sentence you used. Many threads are the evidence of that. This is something I would consider as gaslighting. I don't think it would cost him much energy to stay on topic and be brief.

Summary:
@DynamicDylan is not good with communication with users. Therefore I think rules should be re-thinked and edited. He often write there "PM me and we will deal with it" and stuff like that. I will give you example what happened, when I was trying to reach him for weeks. Ignored or he was changing topic, blaming me for rumors.

@DynamicDylan these are my things which are in my opinion frustrating. I am not even getting here into a problem with your power tripping moderator @Chaos_NoPMs . This thread is specially for you. <3 Take from it whatever you find useful. View from the other side could be good for improvements, if you don't have your own head sticked in your ass.

screenshots were an example of ignoring, derailing and blameshifting from our dear admin - pointing at absurdity of rules which has "PM me" part
I saw that. Maybe be on point with him and have screenshots on hand will help. For the pm part. I'm not sure, I don't know @DynamicDylan well.

Now the derailing part that's on @Samwise and @Ness_eb that's on them to moderate the threads on here. So that doesn't happen.

I can understand how it could be frustrating for UM that there are several threads open, but still, they are addressing different issues/cases, and if there are issues, I just believe they should be visible to be actioned.

If more users are posting complaints on a mod, I guess it is something which should deserve a moment to analyze and take action if needed.

So you want Dylan to analyze and investigate moderator action on the user. Just to make sure it was the right course of action. Before closing the thread/s... That's understandable.

Yes. My main concern is about giving a clear closure. "Complaint rejected" or "complaint has been actioned by doing this ... ".

He is mostly not reacting, making promises to contact you in DM, or ask you to contact him and he does not reply, Also I think it is a good thing to be transparent about his approach with his mods. A lot of shady things are happening there. Everybody in Singles knows that.

And this is why I stick to fourms. Lol

You do realise this is a free chat site with nobody getting paid for their time, most of the kicks/mutes given out are deserved some are not, maybe if you details or minutes of every complaint go to a site that has that as a perk, you get what you pay for.

I understand that. This is just suggestion and feedback. Dylan and UMs can feel free to ignore it. I just wanted to provide my perspective on this, because they mostly act surprised why I am not satisfied.

Great suggestion but no one cares. These people don't want to remain transparent cuz if they do they most certainly will lose their privileges.

I've said it many times. They don't observe the complaint or evidence they observe who is reporting it. These people volunteer to do work and then bitch when work needs to be done. It's not an excuse.

A good suggestion would be to sticky complaint threads onto each respective room in the forums. Then only allow the mods/admin/ user of that room to respond in it. But that's not going to happen because then it would require transparency. It would seriously cut back on all the **** posting and clean up needed to be done by @Samwise.

Also this site was founded upon the idea of DISCUSSION. Having the admins make a 1sentence statement telling the forum UM to close the thread is not is not productive to discussion, resolution or transparency.

But like I said no one is actually open to improving this community.

i will say this, take what you want from it. and remember you may get different results. and take into account things may have changed.

since the inception of kick/ban forum it has always been the room admins discretion to have the room they are in charge of complaint threads open for discussion or closed. BEFORE kick/ban forum, complaints were all over the forums, and closed but mainly deleted with no explanation. since the creation, room admins always have this choice . and are allowed to change it when ever. if threads in kick/ban are left open they are left open until admin reply. if the admin asks for closure and re direct its assumed they will take care of it. this say so/power was ONLY for kick/ban forum. no where else. meaning you posted a kick complaint in a different forum deletion may occur. sometimes you would get a decent mod and they moved the complaint. sometimes straight delete. the reasoning behind this was not originally to sweep things under the rug. it was because at the time, the only notification you could receive via email was that someone sent you a private message. it then sent a copy of the pm. and so those who were not forums savvy, logged in read and answered pms and logged off. now everyone demands public outcry and demands room admins to know every aspect of everything creating more issues when they dont.

start cc'ing chatmaster in every pm you pm dylan with. it might take a while, but something may start getting done. then neither can deny they didnt know.
