React content- stealing content?

Is react content in VODs stealing content and taking views from the OP?

I think it's fine if it's transformative. Like I follow history channels and streamers that offer corrections and commentary, but they are not just showing content while their away and just showing an empty chair.

I have qualms about how copyright is currently but I am also against exploitation. The streamers doing this tend to be bigger than the content creators.

Same. I think its fine if the person watching it is adding something else to the video, or giving it criticism, whilst not just basically posting the whole video with absolutely nothing added. Could also just ask the person who's video you wanna watch if you can, and leave links to their stuff in a description or on screen

...basically don't do what XQC is doing 😂
