So, as I was saying before my original thread got derailed and wrongly moved, proving the point I was trying to make.

I don't think it's a good idea for forum mods/admins to be able to move,delete, close threads that they start or that they are the topic of or involved in. And especially able to edit posts or dms at will with absolutely no time limit on when they can be edited. It is a huge conflict of interest. When any kind of conversation or discussion can be endlessly manipulated. This is even more egregious as far as forum dms go. More so when the forum mods are also room admins. These are staff that users and fellow staff are told to message and come to with any issues. And those messages can be edited or outright deleted to change the narrative of the conversation. How is any user supposed to be able to trust and feel safe having any interaction with someone that has the ability to do all this.

It completely shuts down any meaningful discussions or the ability to come to any proper resolutions at times.

I would go so far as to say the forum staff should be completely different to any staff in the rooms to easily avoid this kind of conflict of interest. I apologize to any forum mods that do the right thing and treat their positions with the respect it deserves. It's a shame bad apples can ruin the experience for everyone.

There's a HUGE line of difference there . Adult Chat does not have 13+ users in there and removing 3 to 4 staff members all at once is logical ? I know all to well how people erupt after any staff members leave even though the claim to be " innocent ******** " That goes without saying .

You’re correct, we do not allow minor users. However, I was responding to your original post and your main issue was when staff aren’t in the room you felt it was pointless to report violations.
Now you’re changing your point to staff being removed from their positions, which you didn’t mention in your original post.

That was my point on the post ... Not enough staff then the reports go unseen until a Staff member logs in and the violator could be far gone by that time . But lets say Staff logs in an hour or more later after a report was logged is it a a fair practice to post an action on them when its been that long or longer ? I'm just trying to understand how this works .

Yes it’s absolutely fair and it’s done all the time. They committed a violation at the time regardless of how much time has passed since.

HR does that for sure. Like when he was chewing out the mods, he removed that post since he knew that was doing mod business in open forums. I agree with what you said, We need to take the eraser off of Sammy's edit pencil.
 
I would like to know why a fair decent no bias mod was removed who mostly covered aussie hour in Gen Chat, I understand Pinky is supposed to cover aussie hour (no offense to Pinky) she is currently in another country and unable to do our time. Jose comes in our time but has to work as well, and the lovely sally at times, just a bit of transparency would be good (i know this is not going to happen) but we need to share the moderating over the 24 hour just not usa time.

I was there last night aussie time, and I counted in the short time i was in 15+ asking for kids sex, RP, cam sex blah blah and its a 13+ room (not that I believe the majority of the so called teens are really teens), in my life ive never seen a teen come in and ask for daddy to molest them?? which the majority of the so called teens do.

The kids, teens, boys, girls chat have enough rooms for the underage ********, lets get a 18+ rating so the adults can joke and banter without being muted for no offensive material. I know at one stage it was changed to 16+ with the discretion of the mod but this lasted about a day and was thrown out the window.

Also on the note of editing and removing posts, this has happened to myself many many times, Ive seen some nasty vile things said on forums and I was banned for 3 days for telling bread to remove his head unpolitely - I wonder if some have an agenda on how they handle situations with the ******** they dislike and hold accountable for their actions.

LMFAO the way you all act as if you hold any position of authority when like hypocrites you violate every chat rule or look the other way when your friends are breaking the rules.
MOST of you put your hand up to do the unpaid moderator positions because you're sociopaths who want a sense of power/control over other people.
The reality is that most of the high traffic chatrooms run VERY well WITHOUT mods, and in fact mods just precipitate disharmony when they troll ******** and abuse their positions.

and what about the violations of troll mods? because when ANY chatter makes an effort to report abuse, their mates from other rooms all gang up on the chatter and have that grievance mocked and shut down.
 
your complaints process is a total joke. It's the troll mods investigating their own troll mods. Your admins are totally useless - they always take the side of the troll mod not to lose them. Allows troll mods t act with impunity and even lie, despite screenshots to the contrary.
You cannot be taken seriously
As for implementing sanctions, clean up your mod ranks first.

mememe / stinkerbelle is innocent your honour - she doesn't troll or harass any ******** (just many hours at a time during the aussie hours; mods look the other way, even if they're there). her feigned concern is entertaining.
