Since the site's not willing to support and educate people...what if I wrote a bot that would post COPPA reminders and information about who to contact in law enforcement for all the states and at the federal level if you've had your privacy violated or been violated sexually?

Let’s go back to your original post:
You start off with an incorrect statement. The site and staff DO support people. And the staff DO educate people about online safety.
How the site operates, what its “mission” is, what its responsibilities are, are all determined by the owners. Not you. Or me. Or anyone else. We can all make suggestions (and many of us have) but the ultimate decision is in the hands of the owners. Take your ideas to them and see what they say.
so you're saying you're happy with the level of protection a child has here? that you don't see anything wrong with the users in those rooms and how those situations are handled?
This isn’t about me and what I think or feel. You created a thread asking what people thought about you creating a bot. I’m telling you what I think about you creating a bot.
no, the thread was to see what people thought about ways of providing safe information to kids. Do you oppose that? Do you think enough is being done? If you don't what are you suggesting we do as an alternative? What if CM isnt' willing to...are you going to be complacent to that?
Then maybe I misunderstood the words you wrote in your original post.
Of course I don’t oppose keeping kids safe. As has been said several times now, if you have ideas on how to do that then present them to the owners. They are the ones who will make those decisions.
And when the owners don't listen? or the admin staff doesn't listen? you still believe in complacency?
At that point you would have to make a decision if you want to continue to use this site or if you want to leave and use another site.
