I used to mod for general chat under Samwise once upon a time but I quit for a reason. I don't go to general chat as much anymore but General has some great mods. But I do disagree on how he runs the room 🤷

community culture flows down...trickles...it starts from the top...if it's shitty up top...with complacence...double speak...micro management...non-transparency...gaslighting...then everything that follows is just as toxic. that's a start.

Then actually care about your users. Make a difference for them in the same way they make a difference for each other.

inspire them to be members of the community instead of just being here because it's part of their unpaid labour.

I would find an admin that knows How to stand up to and deal with the incessant trolls that continue to wreck the chat experience of other users however, I don’t think there’s anything an admin can do to fix this place….CM Should make the room 18+, but then his paedophile buddies don’t have a playground to hunt in, so that likely won’t happen.

If you combine all rooms they will not have more active members like the room that he is in charge of.
And that is a fact.
