GET RID OF THE REPORT LIMIT SYSTEM!

Unfortunately, I have no control over the things I think are cons. So I'm unable to “do better”. But I do the best I can with the tools I have and I’m ok with that.
 
well they could increase the report limit but one of the reasons they have not is due to people making a little script and mass reporting with fetch requests.-.

had a few chatter doing that last year and it got annoying as hell.
 
Firstly, this is a mute point unless you are addressing this post to a coder with access to the back end. The maximum report function limit is not a control panel setting and sits in the function_all.php file. For anyone to change it they would need access to the coding section and it would be silly to give anyone that.

Secondly, the maximum of 3 reports is the software default setting. I don’t think tinkering with default settings is something that’s wise.

Finally the default setting is restricted to stop reporting abuse and that is very wise. Mods enter rooms to 50 plus reports sometimes, it takes a while to go through all the serious ones and the serious ones are generally reported by many users. 3 per person is a good arbitrary figure. It could be 2 or 4 but really?

Anyway - it can’t be changed and shouldn’t anyway.

This is why I started my response off with feasibility discovery. But, no one from the site owner/admin group ever comments about such things. It's left to others to determine.
 
Limited report systems are okay.
If it's not giving you the expected results after the third report, you were wrong to report it.

They just being nice not telling you to chill and have fun. lol

The lack of action is always the problem in /sex/ though. Constant paedophiles. Bots every day pushing disgusting images onto main chat. Ban evasion. VIPs who are bulletproof because they paid so they can do what they like. Revolving cast of crap admins. Mods getting burned out in weeks or even days. Nothing ever getting done about any of this. We, the users, regularly being dismissed as “needing to touch grass” or get a life.

Pretty obvious why we’d be incredulous at the claim that Chatmaster regularly communicates from his ivory tower to the swamp of /sex/.
