Banned For Trying To Expose “Bad Guys”

I need help, I've been trying for years to bait and expose online "bad guys" but I don't know if it’s working. I've gotten banned from this chat multiple times due to trying to bait them. Apparently the chat said it would share my IP with police from the bait messages. I'm trying to stop these creeps. What do I do???

I recommend leaving removing the bad guys to the chat room staff. You should just enjoy chatting. Use the report feature to report the violations you see and let the staff handle them. Or if you like, you could apply to be a moderator for the room (if you meet all the requirements).

What do I do about the supposed police report? The ban message for they were gonna give my IP address to them and I’m concerned.

The room admin has been tagged. I suggest waiting for them to respond to you here or you can click their name above and talk to them privately.

But again, look what happened when you tried to take matters into your own hands. It didn’t end well. Use the report feature and just enjoy being a chatter.
 
In addition to what @TheDifference said, I'll add that rule breaks are rule breaks, independent of your intentions. I imagine that if you were banned and received the message that your IP address and actions were being reported to the authorities, then it was for illegal actions involving minors. If you are truly innocent, then you are welcome to explain that to the police when they investigate the report.

In the mean time though, I'd be happy to look up your account. What is your username in Gay Chat?

Baiting pedos is not a good idea.

A. There are certain ways and things that need to be said of help build a case.
B. You would be removed if you are acting like a minor but having a sexual conversation.
C. Depending on what you said can be illegal.

Which if it’s C that’s your own fault. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. But you’ll have your chance to explain to the proper authorities.

I do appreciate it. I will admit I was probably being wreckless in my attempt to stop people. Hopefully when we talk we’ll be able to remove even more of these horrific people from our society. Thank you!

Uhhhhh let me remember. I will attempt to contact law enforcement concerning this issue. I’m GOING to work with them to remove as many of these creeps as possible. Let me try to think up the name. Can you message me independently? Idk how to do that
