Since I’m on the forums I wanna say is there people doing things to stop all that spamming in chat? Can’t they just ban the words m.e.g.a so when they use spaces and stuff it won’t come out either way

There are no pedophiles on this site because age 13 does not make a pedophile, but age 10 does. However, there are many adolescent predators (hebephili) on this site. Pedophilia is an extremely serious condition. Therefore, the word pedophile should have a serious meaning. Like the "Boy who cried wolf" the word pedophile is used so willy nilly, all it commonly means is older dating, married, or attracted to younger. Regardless of what one thinks of a 40 year old man dating a 20 year old woman, he is not a pedophile but the way the word is used, that is what people think.
However, in effect, you are correct that this site does almost nothing to eliminate adolescent predators.
When you are in the video game chat a message often appears inviting you to a "fun kids chat". The mods say that since VGC is a 13+ room that is just fine ignoring the fact that 99% of the ******** there are adults. This isn't fine in my book.
The other funny thing is when the mods kick you for saying something sexual but the messages you receive upon entering the room entice you to come see sexy models at F***Week. If you copy and past the message in the room you get banned. When you address this with the mods the answer is always "we can't control hackers" or contact the chat master which is a total waste of time.
When we see things that are questionable, I suggest not notifying anyone at Chat Avenue but notifying your local authorities. Chat Master is only after the money and doesn't give a **** about the safety of youngsters.

Maybe I misunderstood your post but let me just be clear. For the purposes of this site, an adult is anyone 18 or older. A minor is anyone 17 or younger. Regardless of the name you call it, inappropriate relations between an 18+ person and a 17- person is not allowed by this site.
This site chose to have some chat rooms that mix 17- with 18+. Therefore, the staff go to great lengths to keep the content in those rooms appropriate for all ages.
I will agree with you on one point. It would be nice to have a chat room for only 18+ that restricted the graphic sexual content so that adults could have conversations of an adult nature without having to see the graphic content and without being concerned with 17- seeing people talk about adult topics.
Ironic suggestion given that you, as a 19 year old, were banned for requesting nudes from a 14 year old

@TheDifference I do like your suggestion about an 18 and up adult chat room minus all the graphic and to be honest silly gifs.
Back in the digi days, adult chat was a room where folks talked to one another instead of trying to out gross the next person.
I would like to see them ditch the Sex chat period. I know that won't happen. I also wish there was a seniors chat room say age 50 and older. Then all of us oldies can make fun of the youth of today.

Thank you for your excellent post that, for members that may not know, clearly defines the intent of #1 Chat Avenue in rooms with both over and under the age of 18.
Actually……….. in Adult Chat Desktop we have a side room called the Seniors Room. It is mostly mature people who want to chat with other mature people. Is there still graphic sexual content posted there? Sure. But much less than in the main room.
And with an average attendance of around 40 people the scroll is much slower than in the main room (where there’s usually over 1,000) and people can actually have conversations. Shocking! And there are “regulars” so it’s becoming a nice kind of community. Come on down and check it out if you ever feel like it. 👨🏾🦳🧑🏻🦳👵🏽

Why would I request an appeal for something I actually did? I mentioned nudes since I literally get no bitches in life. Not directly request them. I’m a pretty outta hand person tbh. Im 19 so it’s the last year I was gonna be on the site anyways. Ima try and spend less time online and go get some
