Once again why are UM's using invisible? This isn't the first time this has been brought to attention.
And why aren't Report resolutions being sent? What's the point of reporting if we have no clue if it was resolved?

But Ik what your talking about, and yeah he definitely can be used for those purposes, hell anything can with enough imagination. my comment was more so to be like the characters ITSELF isn't immediately linked to that kinda ****, but definitely can be (especially if 4chan has its hands on it)

And yeah I just wanted say that not every instance is posted with malicious intent. But its unfortunate that's what hes known for.

Imagine being so bored that your worried about an online settings for a message board forums lol. God forbid a real life issue occurs. geez they would have a major meltdown lmao.

Sooo I’m not sure what’s up? I mean idc to be invisible anymore since I’m not an admin but if others wish to I don’t think that’s a bad thing. Especially when admins are 100% invisible in the chat rooms (most)… and some here on forums.

it portrays (comes off) as they are unreachable, lazy and uncaring to the subject(s) at hand. which reads to the users admins dont care about them, the issue or even wants to hear about issues of the room/mods (or their "job")

in r/l youd get pissed too if your boss was out of the office all the time too. (im pretty sure some are reading this right now going ohhh yea ricks an ass! and never there when im at work)

the um may be really busy a lot but if they dont even attempt to look reachable all you get is negative feedback.

cm hired you to be his eyes and ears. how can you hear everything (including gossip) when no one knows youre there?

i think the other concern brought up here is the lack of response to reports or making users aware of edits for accountability. If you respond to a report let the user know...even if it's a "this is a non-issue" or "unnecessary report". That way we know it's been handled. Same with edits. add a note at the bottom of the post to say it was edited, by whom, and why. It's been well documented that edits are being made without others being made privy to this.

Exactly, I don't buy the I did not know Jews were offended by Hitler. Not only that but by his own admission he was pondering why he had so many extreme right wing mods. What most would find racism the alt right find as acceptable shows of national pride. Not just Hitler but also the rebel flag. That is just southern pride. It seems not to matter that most now find that symbol as racist.

I saw a report, Im not invisible, and the second post in this thread actually shows that a report does get replied to- ironically showing why replying that way isnt always a good idea.

UMs obviously don't see everything the same way. Ive personally never heard that some silly frog is banned here (or anywhere) or a symbol that is verbotten.
