Forum Ban Appeal Process

What's the process to appeal forum bans? We have an entire forum dedicated to chat bans but how does one appeal a forum ban? I tried to reach out to a UM in chat, because I wasn't banned from any of them despite the topic of my ban pertaining to chats, and was told it was "submitted" to be reviewed...only to be told that if i hadn't been unbanned clearly it was denied. You can't create an alt account because it gets you banned for evasion and then extended.

This is a legitimate question. The ban I just served was completely bogus. Nothing about the code that I ran was exploitive. I specifically pulled out the parts that allow you to flood the chat without getting hit with the autokick.

and coming back after , either trying to get an answer or it to be solved just earns another ban. ESPECIALLY when you get 2 different answers supposedly from the same person.

Just how chat bans are appealed you have to either email or PM @Chatmaster as he’s the forums admin and he doesn’t plan to appoint anyone else as a forums admin 🤷🏻‍♂️

Admin is owner so if anything it makes things move along quicker. If you want radio silence then the alternative works.

half the time owner doesnt even know what happened. so my advice to those reading this poorly given advice: if your going to email the admin... start your complaint at the beginning in one long email so they understand everything.

also id like to mention it took me going to cm to ask why a person had been banned for 15 years. because not one UM was going to lift a cm ban. so are UMs purposefully putting the blame on cm knowing no one can talk to him ?

maybe its time to start labeling bans. that way users know what room to go to to chat about their ban?

The UMS are acting as CM. Thats how they harass whoever they want here by purposefully banning people for asking questions or omitting information to CM.

You can try tying your message to a balloon and it will probably have a higher chance at reaching CM.

To be clear, I had messaged them about the deletion of my original post and asked what specifically about it was an exploit and if they couldn't I'd post it again, no response was given by anyone with UMs, CM, and Admin tagged (admin's actually more a sock account that doesn't get used)
