As the title suggest, this is an embarrasing true story turned nightmare. I was trying to send a picture in PM to a member, right? Classic move, except my finger slipped and I ended up selecting an image of a more personal, provocative nature. And just like that, it went flying off to some random old guy (fingers-crossed he isn't a geriatric pervert, but 95.4% of people over the age 21 in the Boys chat room are). Completely unexpected. Totally unwelcomed.

Now, I'm sitting here wondering if my face is about to become the hottest meme for the senior citizens' Facebook group. Any chance we can brainstorm some damage control? Maybe we can start a petition for a "confirm before sending" feature because clearly, my click-happy fingers can't be trusted.

Looking forward to some wisdom to save me from becoming the next viral sensation among the retirement crowd.

Thanks a bunch (seriously, help me out here).

I have them as a form of self-expression and to celebrate my confidence in my own skin. My nudes are intended for my eyes only or to be shared with someone I trust deeply. They are a private aspect of my identity and autonomy, reflecting moments of personal empowerment and self-acceptance. Their existence in my personal space is a reminder of my right to my own body and choices, not an invitation for external judgment or violation of my privacy.
 
I mean that's fair. You're really not incorrect. 🙂
But this is also why people shouldn't have them.
That way this won't happen.
I can't guarantee you won't be the face of the internet for a while.
I wish I could, but you never really know who you're sending this stuff to.

That's why one needs to be careful.
But this is more a boys chat problem. I just happened to see it.

But let this be a lesson to everybody: don't have nudes.
Never know when you may make a mistake.

There's a 99% chance you're off base with your accusations. There's a 99% chance you're a gullible fool, swayed by a pea-brained community thriving on spreading false rumors rather than genuinely engaging with the person you're so keen to insult. there's a 99% chance the world remains a mess, largely thanks to individuals like you who prefer launching attacks over offering a helping hand. there's also a 99% chance your actions contribute more to the problem than any solution.

My advice? In 99% of the situations that you find yourself having nothing positive to say, appeal to the 1% deep inside your soul, telling you to shut the **** up.

Karina the best and we're all a good team.
I'm not a boys chat mod of course, but that's why I said I'd say the same thing to a girl in this situation in fairness.
I'm all for body positivity and loving who you are -- but I'm also for safety and making sure everybody is as safe as possible.
Accidents happen. We all send stupid things by accident.
And that's why none of us should have nudes to begin with. 🙂
