Here's a simple fact of chat life for you to get your head around. Nobody is obliged to chat to you. Nobody. You're not entitled to expect anyone to be obliged to chat to you.

A normal rational person would accept this and move on to chat to others and if the next one didn't respond then move on again. Rinse and repeat.
