Malpractice in VGC

Kicked for “multiple banned words” whilst other users including supervising moderator is allowed to use word on banned word list.

If one banned word is okay they are all okay. You can’t let everyone say .re but not let them say .nt. Very inappropriate topic for 13+ as well. I understand the kick is only 10 minutes.

This is not a refutation, but a complaint.

I don’t think you should be allowed to say, a word on the banned word list.
And then, not be able to use any other words on the same exact list, It’s very hypocritical.

Considering a valid kick/ban reason is "," I never did understand why "" was on the banned words list in VGC. I've seen so many mods and admins in that room forget and overlook it over the years because of that. All that being said, you do have a point, but your point was lost when you started spouting racist slurs. There is definitely a better way to go about a complaint of this nature.

No it wasn’t,
They’re all on the same list, They all should be treated the same.

Also, not your room.
You don’t have a say in what is and isn’t appropriate.

My point is that if we’re gonna follow rules we follow them. If we’re not gonna follow rules then we don’t.

No exceptions for wanting to quote “slu.t shame jeez”

There is definitely a better way to go about a complaint of this nature.

I tried reporting (no action taken).
And saying the word that the problem users had used (w).
Nobody even seemed to pay attention….


Seemed like what I did got them to listen pretty quickly.
Especially if you’re the one talking for them.

Can’t really ignore a mod now too can I?
Maybe the mods should know what the banned words are……

I'm not speaking for anyone. You tagged the relevant parties and I'm sure someone will be by to address your complaint in due time. I was merely expressing an opinion.

But since you asked, you could have PMed a mod after you made the report if you did not feel adequate action was taken.

I wouldn’t go to the local police station to report a local cop.

I would go to the D.A or someone higher up.

Or to the public like a media outlet or news channel.

Exposure is not something only limited to real world scenarios.
I want to make sure that everything dealt with to the absolute best of its ability in accordance with the regulations of this site. And won’t stand for petty trickery or games.

I much prefer to conduct these kinds of conversations in view of the public so the conversation isn’t only reachable via my personal account.

Banned words are not appropriate for anyone to use in the room, VIP's, Moderators or anyone otherwise. There's a reason they're banned.
