The ignore button should hide both accounts from each other not just be one sided as it defeats the purpose of a ignore

The ignore is pointless if only one side is mad invisible

It's not pointless; there are different uses for both sides (ignoring another user compared to the other user not seeing your posts). The funny thing is that I'm pretty sure PM settings already have that functionality. I think if you set your PM settings to Friends Only, you can't message ANYONE other than your friends meaning it works both ways. 🤪

its pointless in the sense that people that you want to block (CREEPS) can still see everything you post.
In just about any other social media when you block someone its a 2 way block so that gives you a bit of privacy from these known CREEPS

Actually it means only friends can pm you

My fault, getting a bit off topic here, but that's not how it works. I just tested it. Set your PM settings to Friends Only and you can't message anyone that's not on your Friendlist. You'll get a pop-up in the PM window that says, "You cannot currently contact this user."
