Onwards to the next season! Congrats Florida that was a hard fought cup win!

The draft begins June 28th at 7pm with Sharks having the first overall pick. (Macklin Celebrini a Foward is expected to go first overall.) Imagine going first overall to a team for the most part that you grew up watching and have a summer house really close to in terms of their arena.

Rangers have pick #30 in this years first round draft hopefully we do well like we did in last years draft. (We have a few others as well.) 🙂🙂

That Lottery sucks. I felt like they'd be last after the first ten draft order picks were in.

I'm not hyped about the NHL draft, never have been, same with baseball. NFL has a faster development rate and process so you get 3 years tops to prove you're not a bust. In the NHL it's rare to get a rookie that makes an immediate impact and only Laf has stood out to me among the drafted. Did we finally get rid of thar Russian we drafted after Kakko? Ugh, I'm still pissed I got a Kakko authentic when I could have gotten a Kreider.

I think we landed here cause of record though as well. That’s why they only gave Kakko a one year deal.

I had doubts about him after he was drafted because of his medical condition and suddenly he said he was questioning if his heart was still in the sport.
 
Yeah boys, Draft! Official start of the 2025 season. I wonder if we will see some big trades tonight, usually there arent many, but there has been a ton of lead up so far with some decent trades!
I doubt my Leafs make any big splashes, why would they... Make the playoffs every year with this group, so unless its a massive "hockey" deal that doesnt hurt the now, I dont see them doing it.
Id like Tre to do a reverse Tkatchuk deal, where he actually gets the better player in that type of deal lol

Awful news... I came on to share just this today, completely floored me when I got the TSN notification this morning. All by a POS driver who shouldnt have been behind the wheel.
