Suggestion for Chat

Hey everyone. I'm usually in Adult Chat and I enjoy it in there, however a lot of messages in the chat are just repeated by the same users. I know I can set them to Ignore but that just avoids their messages doesn't it? Would love if there was a way to have the Ignore function also block their messages in the chat so I can avoid seeing the same, usually spam, messages all the time. Keep up the good work, cheers.

To completely ignore someone, hit the hamburger on their profile (middle icon) then select “ignore” on the menu that comes up

Yeah, sorry about that. I deleted it and I was just writing another reply saying I meant when you click the circular avatar in the messages. It comes up action and then I've hit ignore from there but not the actual profile itself. I'm positive I'm seeing people I've done that with before. It could be an issue with me logging in and out?

If it’s guests then the ignore will go when they sign out. Registered accounts should stay on ignore though

Are you using Adult mobile or Adult desktop?

Maybe that's what's happening, the guests. It's mobile I'm on, although I'm having a little trouble accessing it just now because nothing seems to be loading.

Hello and glad to hear you’re enjoying the room. You got some good responses from Ink above. Yes, the repetitive posts can be annoying but keep using the ignore feature (on the persons profile) it really does help. Also know that the staff do their best to remove spammers and bots on a daily basis.

If its guests its pointless muting them they can just log off and create 400 other accounts the same day. Youll never win specially in the rooms with over 100 users. You can set your PMs so they cant PM you but you can not stop from seeing every single one of their posts in main chat. Unless you want to make it your full time job to be ignoring guests.

Hi again, occasionally there will be server issues which temporarily prevent you from accessing the chat but they are usually resolved pretty quickly. Just keep trying 🙂
 
In case you weren’t sure, here is how to adjust your privacy settings: click your pic in the top right and click Edit Profile. Then click the tab that says More. Then click Private Setting and choose who you would like to be able to message you.

Also, if you have any other chat related questions you can always private message one of the friendly neighborhood Moderators and they’d be happy to help you.
