I was scrolling through forums when I noticed that teen chat apparently had an issue with a staff member kicking and promoting a different chat site. With the new update that came out last year I believe, there is an option to change how you want to log in. If you go and click on your profile picture on the upper right and select edit profile, click on more, and choose login option. This will allow you to change the login option to email only. If someone has access to your password, normally they can login with your username and password. If you set it to email only, usually you are the only one to know what your email is that you used for the chatroom. This will better prevent your account from being used by someone else. It is also a good idea to have a strong password and one that is not easy to guess. If you are promoted to become a mod for one of the rooms, keeping your account secure and safe is important to ensure that your account does not fall in the wrong hands.
 
Another suggestion is to never reuse passwords across multiple sites. Use a different password for each site and use a password manager like KeepassXC (which is free and excellent) to record them. Make your passwords easier to remember by using four or more unrelated words and stringing them together. For example "FragrantSalineSphericalVoucher". The longer the better, longer is more secure. Lastly, If a site offers multifactor authentication then use it.

I've always been fascinated with those ethical hackers that hack for good reasons. They're able to uncover flaws and weaknesses in the software or coding of a site or app. This allows for coders and app/site managers to fix issues before they are widely known.

you have no idea how true that is. especially for a digi mod. I've seen them written in lipstick on a desk. on a post it posted on a screen fridge magnets with numbers. Ive heard vacaroos where they read it out loud. and thats 3 of a 1000s ways.
