Free version of VPN is the problem, but when you pay for VPN, it solves it.

The site reservs the right to block any VPN that is known to cause issues.

The perk is there but which VPN is allowed is not clear.

I made a thread to ask which VPNs are allowed but the thread was closed so we can’t get a list of them. HR said it’s a case of “buyer beware” but if my thread had stayed open, buyers could possibly have been aware of the VPNs that they ought to buy, but alas it is not a tech issue.

That answer is per site admin, specifically answering your question, of which the same topic has four threads.

The truth is, because of the technical nature of how VPNs are blocked here... There's no way for them to know what is and isn't blocked by their own list and/or automatically by the different levels of services that provide blocking capabilities.

Additionally, just because they say something isn't blocked doesn't mean someone else won't abuse that fact and get it blocked, unrelated to your own use of the service... Since it's likely that you'd be sharing the same ip, or at least network, as that other user through the same service.

Ultimately, if something works... Don't tell anyone because it'll likely not last long.

You know what I did not say which vpn services I am using nor which vpn connection I am using.

Worked for me proton free vpn on opera browser on android (Samsung galaxy a14)

I don't know why it doesn't work for you @Trenton Mihm I don't know.
There's any number of reasons why that configuration worked for you. The most likely is because the ip address you were assigned hadn't yet been blocked by the system. Another thing to note is that for the free version it randomly assigns you a server in a country. You can change once or twice to a different randomly assigned country before it starts putting a time limit before being able to change again. My first country was thr Philippines and then Poland and then Japan before getting to the Netherlands. With 120 countries it's also possible that one of the countries you tried was entirely blocked as a geographic location.

Additionally, using a free server in the US lasted all of four seconds before being kicked for using it in General chat, when I've been able to use other VPNs without VIP for several hours.

Oh yeah it was pure luck tbh

Just make your own VPN. I have used this site for years and never had any problems using my own VPN. Also, the VIP on this site is a scam every single feature it offers used to be free but he changed it to paid, so he can try get some extra change from this dying site LOOL
