Is an obese dentist safe or worth using in your opinion?

If you went to the dentist and the said dentist was obese would it be safe to have the dentist inspect or work on your teeth or would the level of service be of a high level?

Some issues that may occur:

- the overweight dentist blocks out the lighting while working on your teeth. This poses a safety risk

- the overweight dentist will need more regular breaks to eat. Would they be on time consistently or charge more?

- the overweight dentist will have poor circulation, if they pass out or get tired easily this could lead to sloppy work and/or pose another safety risk

- the overweight dentist will more than likely have excessive body odour. This would lead to a very unpleasant experience. Fat people sweat a lot

- the overweight dentist could well have issues with self control. Would you like someone like that working on your teeth or giving you advice on how to care for yourself? I’m leaning towards a no

Is there anything I’ve missed with this topic?

And also if he has a Creepy Toe fetish and he gives patients sedatives to suck their Toes.

I went to a fat dentist woman with impaired vision, i had to go to another dentist to repair her work.

She would say just point your tongue at which tooth it is.

Have they let you out of prison crude.

Shame it isnt even a real dentist you are talking about! more like Frankenstien

We all know him, he's the creepy guy who even talks about his toe fetishes in gen chat infront of kids.

Sounds extremely putrid. It’s a concern that a person like this has peoples health & well being under their watch in all honesty

Talking about those things in front of children is such vile behavior. Hence another reason children and adults don’t belong in the same spaces, I’ll never understand why this site operates the way it does in that regard.

The work may be both safe and of a high level of service. Obese or otherwise the dentist would have to be qualified.

Aside from that define what you mean by obese? Everyone's body is different and obese to you might be different to someone else.

Dentists shine a high intensity light into your mouth whilst working and are unlikely (I would've thought) to block out that light as they wouldn't be able to work.
- the overweight dentist will need more regular breaks to eat. Would they be on time consistently or charge more?
More regular breaks whilst carrying out work on your teeth? How bad are your teeth? 😀 Dentists usually give a check up and then discuss with you what they feel needs doing. After that you make - or not - the relevant appointments. At this point you can walk away and never visit obese dentist again.
- the overweight dentist will have poor circulation, if they pass out or get tired easily this could lead to sloppy work and/or pose another safety risk
There are quite a lot of overweight and even obese people who have a good level of fitness and who do not have poor circulation. There is no reason to typecast anyone in this way because of their size. Passing out or becoming ill suddenly can happen to anyone not just those who are overweight.

There is no reason to suppose anyone overweight will have excessive body odour. Remember too that dentists encounter many patients with bad breath and/or poor teeth care. Whilst you are assessing their capabilities based on their appearance they are assessing your level of oral hygiene based on what they see in your mouth.

Self-control issues concerning what exactly?

Yes there is. You've forgotten to state that you're an arrogant little prick with an over-inflated sense of self and a lack of respect and acceptance for other people.

Such a passionate and detailed response with a lot of thought and time spent on it. I’ve definitely achieved my goal of reaching the target audience 😂

Most importantly, check that your dentist is not on a sex offender registry and does not have symptoms of suicide , depression, alcoholism or alcohol abuse, as it is widely known many dentists have these traits and behaviour. If you know of a dentist exhibiting these symptoms, have him, her, it call 988 for support and the help needed. It doesn't have to be that way, and you can find a new beginning

If you have cptsd you grind your teeth during dreams, also if you have pain you will crinch one side of your mouth while sleeping to try and dull it.
You can buy one of them teeth grind mouth guards to put in while you sleep. overall, most people only need to see a dentist or go to a hospital because they abuse themselves all their life LOL

This is a valid point. Dentistry has some of the highest rates of mental illness and depression. This is something to be careful and aware of when choosing a dental service provider.

It is also something to take into consideration when communicating with someone that you know is a dentist. If they appear to be mentally unwell they probably are, statistically they are predisposed to be this way.
