So according to this post when I said females, it was misogynistic and offensive.

But it was not offensive when I said the word “men”.

Is the word “female” offensive?

Disclaimer: nothing trans related; I’m talking about the word. Because this pedo sympathiser seems to think so.

Would like to hear from females (you know; because im misogynistic and I WOULD LIKE your opinion)

Don't say "female", it contains the word "male".
Don't say "woman", it contains the word "man".
Don't say "women", it contains the word "men".
Don't say "lady", it contains the word "lad".

Petition to refer to all women as "Karens".

to answer your inquiry:
The term "female" has been used to refer to women throughout history, but its usage has been perpetuated by misogynistic ideology that reduces women to their gender role, stripping them of individuality and agency. This language reinforces harmful gender stereotypes, objectification, and marginalization.

Historically, the term "female" emerged in the 14th century, derived from the Latin word "femella," meaning "young woman" or "girl." Initially, it was used to describe biological sex, but over time, it became a tool to reinforce patriarchal norms. During the Enlightenment, philosophers like Aristotle and Kant used "female" to describe women as inherently inferior, emotional, and submissive.

In the 19th and 20th centuries, the term gained popularity in scientific and medical contexts, further solidifying the notion that women's primary identity was their biological sex. This reductionist language ignored women's experiences, agency, and individuality, perpetuating stereotypes and justifying discrimination.

Using "female" to refer to women implies that their gender is their primary defining characteristic, overshadowing their unique personalities, experiences, and achievements. It reinforces a binary view of gender, neglecting non-binary and gender-nonconforming individuals.

In contrast, using "woman" or "women" acknowledges their humanity, individuality, and agency. It recognizes women as complex beings with diverse experiences and perspectives.

also for a woman as young as you @Ken_Kaneki im very disappointed in your behaviour and beliefs. entertaining the degradation of another woman who's barely an adult is distateful. I suggest you conduct introspective.

@purplerose I suggest you read what I took the time to write.

the usage of the term "female" is offensive in the context of general conversation not as medical terminology.

it's not my job as an 18 year old girl to educate any of you by the way.

OP wanted my thoughts as a female. I don't need to read any others but OP.

you want to personally debate Luka, make a new thread for just you and Luka (no guarantee it will stay between you and him as it will be an open thread) or pm him.

he does not care for your input, this entire poll was made with the malevolent intent of degrading me. my name is in the poll if you haven't noticed.
ohhh, you think I'm stupid. just because I don't comment/vote/react means I don't know what's going on.

he wanted my input. at least my public one.

we also all know why it was made, yet you STILL went and posted that wall o text no one will read. proving him right , again, in like what the 3rd thread and a handful of profile posts now?!

You don’t know me so I don’t give not one nor two shıts on how you feel about me. ✌🏽 Like I said I’m not offended because I AM a female. You’ve entered the adult life now so soon you will realize shıt ain’t that deep the way you’re making it out to be. If you can’t take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

Speaking as a female, you're full of shite.

You really are reaching with this female shite. You have a whole host of females saying they're fine being called female, yet you've decided to die on this hill because you're offended by a word that has been used forever. There are more important things in the world.

these women clearly don't respect themselves and are okay with patriarchal norms. you cannot debunk anything I said. It's factual.

the rest is your feelings.

How does a female have goals? i thought females were meant to be in the kitchen have babies damn

It's usually women with ambition. but you're not a woman, just a female

Our feelings? We're not the ones complaining about the use of a very common word
