Improvements to Kick/Ban Inquiries and Mod Complaints/Compliments

Hello, I would like to suggest some improvements for the "Kick/Ban Inquiries and Mod Complaints/Compliments" forum.

My main suggestion is that this topic should have a search filter by room and by keywords in the title. Currently, it's difficult to find a specific topic since they are all grouped together in the same space. For example, to find a topic from the Lesbian Room, I have to go through topics from the Sports, Girls, Singles, Games rooms, etc.
Additionally, with the topics mixed together, there is a risk of a topic being deleted without the creator noticing. This could be solved by implementing filters by room and by title. When the author of a complaint creates a topic, they would already have the option to select the corresponding room, making searches easier and avoiding confusion.
This way, UMs wouldn’t need to ask which room the complaint is about, as it would be enough to tag the room’s administrator.

I like this suggestion. It’s possible in this software to split a forum into subsections but that’s a design element. Implementing it would mean there’d be no need to filter, assuming that it’s posted in (or later moved to) the correct area
 
k/b section is nothing more than a dumping ground for the threads to keep them out of the other forums because at the time you would need to go to page 2 of the forum to find anything other than kick complaints.

unless a UM deletes it ( it could happen but they usually just leave it). the forum is set to auto delete closed threads after a certain amount of time. (culling). no amount of filtering is going to save it. if you want threads to last longer , then what would need to happen is enact a new rule, that unless harmful or collecting spam, threads should be left open. ( even open threads are subject to the cull but it is a longer time)

Hmm... but I still think it's possible to separate by room. When the OP opens the complaint or compliment, he could have the option to mark which room his complaint is. This would already create a complaint filter by room, so that everything wouldn't be together in a single forum.
 
I say this from personal experience, after spending hours searching for complaints about the lesbian room. I had a hard time finding the complaints that some people suggested to me, some had to give me the link, because I couldn't find them, because they are all together and mixed up.
 
i could be wrong but the software doesnt have that option.

its hard to find them because they are all closed based on that admins preference. which makes them fall off to the back pages (higher page numbers). the closer to the back pages the closer to the cull. your better search idea should be by date.

Interesting. In other words, who doesn't guarantee that it's done exactly this way to discourage complaints? In other words, we can do this too, charge for putting a filter by date and charge for the topic to be closed at the OP's request, that it be separated by room and that it have the option to search by title. And if the OP doesn't ask to close the topic within a certain period, then yes, the UM closes the topic. For example, the OP has a period of one hour to close his own complaint, after it is answered by the administrator, if the OP doesn't close his own topic, the UM closes it. I think this will be better for all of us.

the asking for closure was meant to be admin based for ONLY k/b complaints. that is because the added "pm the admin your complaint" was added to the closure message. at the time admins spent the majority of their time in the room. and forums at the time had an option to receive an email when a new pm came through that way admins knew to come to forums. otherwise asking for closure, tagging UMs or reporting demanding closure severely defeats the main purpose of the site which is : a chat site. this site has slowed considerably for various reasons but mainly the quick closure of threads ranks up there.


** there is a 2nd to this ... a user had the option to ask for a TROLL thread that mentioned them by name to be closed but only if it was made in EE.

What makes you say that seraphim is a groomer? I've not known that of them in any time they were in the lesbian chat room or for the short period they were in live chat. They don't even speak to people in pm, so not really sure where you've got that from 🤔

Because they were busted a few years back being inappropriate with underage lesbians trying to masquerade sinister “conversations” with Game of Thrones and cate Blanchett.

Then came back. Deleted again.
Came back deleted again when found out she had resurfaced.

Came back. And now… deleted again because she wasn’t getting anywhere with flame song

she let it out in rc or user message that she requested delete for gdpr reasons. she included s/s of pms. gone shortly after those posts.
