Banned for spam appeal

Hey folks, i was banned yesterday from the adult chat room around 0300EST on the 9th for spam. Wasn’t intentional or flooding the room, just insomnia and not paying attention. My name there is lonelyontdom.

I posted this accidentally in another person’s thread but @TheDifference was kind enough to tell me the ban was a System Ban which I’m not sure I understand. Maybe one of the mods or admins can explain what it is to me please? @JenRock,@Lisblanc I appreciate your help with this.

I did send a pm to @foreverman after some much needed sleep but he hasn’t responded and hopefully isn’t caught up in that hurricane business.

A System Ban is when you're banned by the System, obviously. It occurs when you say a word or phrase that most likely could be used to violate the rules. Sometimes these bans are accidental and sometimes they're not.

Do you remember what you said before being banned?

Thanks for the explanation @Murky. I understand what a System ban is from a practical standpoint. What I don’t understand is how I triggered a System ban when I don’t believe I used any banned words or phrases and had actually posted roughly the same phrase or prompt for over an hour.

I appreciate the assistance though, and want to quickly point out that I didn’t say anything hateful, harmful or illegal or anything like that.
