You could find a couple costumes online to buy the costumes or make it on your own and save money.
I think what would be cool, cute, and funny would be peanut butter and jelly. A peanut butter jar and a jelly jar.

Ass... How's that Chad mask working out for ya? Oh, not a mask, sorry...

One year, I dressed in a black suit, black shoes, pants and a black turtleneck. I even dyed my hair black. I took those little boxes of cereal, took out the packets, hot glued the boxes to my turtleneck then stabbed them with plastic knives and poured fake blood all over them and became a "Cereal Killer" ... hahaha... You had to see it but if nothing else, it was original and got a lot of laughs.
