after not receiving a single nomination ever, i think it's time i figuratively threw my hat into the ring as a contender for future UM
look i won't beat around the bush here okie??? the forums they are dying, theyre dying & there isn't any other way to put it; the forums are where our great community comes together, where members across all the different chats integrate, the forums are the great melting pot of chat-avenue & what makes us truly a community...
they are letting them in, all the criminals, the characters that lurk in the night & call themselves the boogiemen, theyre letting them in & theyre seriously hurting a lot of good people by doing this... they're trying to take our polls, they're trying to take our fun away & we has to drain the swamp...
you know i'll tell u this, @Inkandtatts called me on the phone recently, great guy VERY effective admin, & he told me during our lil' chat, he said; * you know dolla??? youre just wonderful, & the forums are dying, the people at the top there they just can't seem to get it together... has you put in any thought in becoming UM & cleaning this place up??? u very well could be the only one that can do it, it'll be huge... *
i has to tell u; honestly i never thought about it, i never wanted to moderate or administrate any of the chats so why on earth would i want go & do that to myself by becoming UM??? but Inks is right.. bc lately #1 Chat-Avenue has been feeling like #2 Chat-Avenue, which becomes harder + harder to deny every passing day here & only i has the sheer will & tenacity to follow in @purplerose's foot steps & make Chat-Avenue #1 again
there just isn't a better choice, & they know that there isn't a better choice; they're scared that if i found myself in the highest office on the forums that the levels of fun would explode & their hard on for making this place into a fascist dystopia would would become limp right before their very eyes 👺
they don't want that, they don't want you all to has fun, but i do; my only interest is making everything fun, that's all everything has ever been about; making Chat-Avenue Fun Again...
that's the point in a chatroom after all, right??? havin' fun, but IDK about the rest of you but things aren't very fun as of late, the forums are dying which means the community is also dying...
but we can turn this around, this doesn't has to be our on going experience, things can be better...
i may not know moderation, but i know fun, & fun is what we need; so what do you got to lose by making me purple chat-avenue???
