I'm shocked no one posted about this here. That I saw, anyway.

ANYWAY.

What did everyone think of the TV show? Like it? Hate it?

Personally, I loved it. I played the game and thought they did a great job. A lot of people have been up in arms over the casting of Ellie but i thought the actress who played Ellie did a fantastic job. As well as Pedro as Joel. I cannot wait to see what they have in store for us for season 2!

So. you're flipping through channels. right? Then there's this show. "The Last of Us" series. and let me tell you. it's like nothing you've seen before. It's got that four-star vibe. not perfect.

Revolutionizing the Small Screen (4.5/5): Now. "The Last of Us" isn't your run-of-the-mill TV drama. It's like the rebel of the small screen. shaking things up. The post-apocalyptic world it throws you into? It's a wild ride that hits you right in the gut. Joel and Ellie. the main characters. are brought to life by actors who know their stuff. making you believe in this crazy world they're living in. It's like a breath of fresh air in a sea of predictable plots.

Dynamic Duo: Joel and Ellie (4/5): These two – Joel and Ellie – they're the heart of the show. Surviving in a world falling apart. their chemistry is on point. You feel the struggle. the morality questions. and the raw humanity. But here's the deal. sometimes the story hits speed bumps. Pacing issues can throw you off a bit. like someone accidentally pressed pause on the remote.

Cinematic Brilliance (4/5): Okay. let's talk visuals. "The Last of Us" doesn't just show you scenes. it throws you into a movie-like experience. The camera work. the way they capture despair and hope – it's next-level stuff. And the music? It's like a soundtrack that punches you in the feels. making every scene hit harder. It's basically the cinematic gold standard for TV dramas.

Among the Best of Recent Times (4/5): In the big pool of recent TV shows. "The Last of Us" stands tall. It's like the cool kid who doesn't follow the rules. The story. the characters. the whole shebang – it's top-notch. Now. it might not be the GOAT . but it's definitely making waves. contributing to the whole evolution of TV storytelling.

Conclusion: "The Last of Us" series isn't just a show. it's a game-changer. It's like TV took a new route. and Joel and Ellie? They're the guides. It's not perfect. a few bumps here and there. but its gutsy storytelling. memorable characters. and cinematic vibes make it stand out. Joel and Ellie's journey is a rollercoaster of emotions and survival. showing us the power TV has to transform stories. It's not flawless. but it's revolutionary. making its mark in the ongoing TV narrative revolution.

Man, it's amazing. I thought it was really cool how faithful they were to the game: the soundtrack, the art direction, the story. It's all top notch.
Detail in the opening, very Game of Thrones. Aha! 🐉🐉😂🐉🐉

I played the games and I saw the series, nothing to say they respected the story and the character very well

I played both the games more than once through. I liked the show but it could have done more. Perhaps 2 - 4 seasons would have given them time to do justice to the story. Also, did you know diarrhoea is hereditary?...Yeah...it runs in your jeans.

I didn't know that, Pandora. I religiously watched season 1 and will enjoy season 2 regardless. I just loved the games so much that I felt they could have done more.

I trust your judgement as I have not played the games, so hopefully they improve by game standards in the upcoming seasons

I meant that the tv series could have done more. The games were excellent, especially the original. The story and characters drew me in like almost nothing else. The tv series was an imperfect reflection. If you liked the show, then you would love the complete story told in the games : ) I look forward to your response when they release season 2. Thanks for telling me.
