hey i had a guest account and i got banned from the gay chat for something ab child exploitation and the authorities could have my ip? i was trying to pull some of that predator catching bs i see online for fun and i put in a fake age into the chat to get someone and got banned.. just wanted to ask would it actually affect me? i havent done anything

Well, I’m not sure on the entire situation or context so someone else may have to explain it better to you, but something else must’ve happened if you got banned for “child exploitation”. The gay chatroom is also for 18+ only which could’ve been another reason for the ban.

Please either enjoy age-appropriate chat rooms as a chatter or apply to be staff. What you're doing isn't helpful or fun. Being a minor in an 18+ room results in you being put in harm's way and banned. Pretending to be a minor in an 18+ room may result in criminal activity via pedophiliac roleplay and will result in you getting banned.

As far as a report to the authorities, it says your information may be passed on in cases involving illegal activity. If you were not doing anything illegal, you have nothing to worry about. As I mentioned before, pretending to be a minor and engaging in explicit conversations can be considered pedophiliac roleplay. Distributing explicit photos of yourself as a minor can be distribution of child pornography.

Again, if you didn't do anything illegal, you have nothing to worry about. Your ban will obviously not be lifted as you are 17 and pretending to be 15 in an 18+ room. Please practice safe Internet use and find something more constructive to do with your time.
