That's actually the definition of being neutral & not treating anyone different from anyone else. Sorry, I know you're used to being treated like a special case, but not having favourites is actually a good thing for a mod/UM.

You’re obviously entitled to your opinion as is everyone else. And speaking of opinions, staff are allowed to speak their opinions too. I could point to multiple mods and admins on this forum that regularly voice their opinions either in text or with gifs/memes. So no “rule” broken there.
I didn’t create this thread and staff aren’t chosen to be in positions based on members votes. I just hope people can state their opinions (either yay or nay) without this turning into a messy, fighting thread 🤞🏻

It seems that @TheDifference is receiving some compliments here. That being said, considering this is an open topic, everyone is welcome to express their opinions — as long as they do so respectfully.
However, since this is a space where an Admin is being praised, it is extremely disrespectful for someone to come here just to attack him, especially turning a discussion that was heading in a healthy direction into a complete "Chernobyl."
It’s simple: if you don’t agree with the compliments directed at certain UMs, Admins, or Mods, just ignore them.
As the old saying goes: "those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones."
But, as I mentioned before, weeds have an incredible ability to destroy everything good around them.

As I said, there’s no rule saying staff have to stay neutral. Most staff here have at one time or another expressed themselves using text, gifs, or memes. 🤷🏻♂️ That said, for the most part I DO stay pretty neutral, except if I feel very strongly about something.

I've always found @TheDifference to be really supportive and quick to help and that's what I need
