If you caught your partner cheating with your best friend, who would you be mad at the most?

I watched a video on ******* about this yesterday. So my cousin asked me the same question. I had to think about this thoroughly because now that I’m older and I’ve seen people go through this, it was hard to decide. I’ve uncomplicated the question for myself. If I was in this situation I believe I would be mad at my best friend more than I would be upset with my partner. I think this way because you can always get a new partner who would treat you better and never hurt you….but that best friend is hard to get. Your best friend owes you more loyalty the most because in my opinion you can always replace that partner but that best friend will be hard to replace.

I think it depends on who holds more of your trust. If it's a new partner and a life-long best friend, surely you'll be more mad at the best friend. But if you've been married to your spouse for twenty years and have only known your best friend for the past five, your spouse likely holds more trust and thus you would be more upset with them.
