Report resolutions

I know @Inkandtatts and @TheLeigh do this but it might be helpful if ALL the UM's did it. Nothing more frustrating than reporting something and not knowing the resolution.
Example: I recently asked for two threads on the same subject to be merged , this wasn't done why? Because i think either -

A: The report was x'd because whoever was going through the reports had no clue how to merge
B: Maybe whoever was dealing with reports didn't think it needed merging
C: thought they would leave it to some one else

it's as simple as this, go through reports and give a resolution to whoever reported it , and simply leave a short message and your initial ( or name ) so we know what's happening.

I'm not sure the "how to" is posted there anymore. I've had to teach a few and even then it was choppy at best.

that aside

responding, not just actioning, reports should be done. it takes an extra second to write . "taken care of, done, I saw it, thanks"

BTW using the above terms staves off many many follow up pms & threads

I picked that one up and sent a rejection alert

Can you do this when I get reported. I mean not that I ever do but just incase 👀

I’ve only taken a few actions so far (closed a few threads) but I plan on giving resolution when I do take actions. No reason not to be thorough and clear.

(Edited to add a “n” to “take”) 😎
