Hang in there. I have been there. The year I was admin I had 15 job interviews in a little over two months. One company I actually had three interviews. So that interview usually you think your hired. You bring a voided blank check etc. Later on I was offered and painfully accepted a job at a children's impatient hospital. The job was mostly case management. Four days before I was to start the orientation I was offered what I was seeking. Rewards do come from painful toils.Disheartening getting back 6 job apps saying no or they found someone.
I once took a job completely out of my field . rent was due, car payment was due, and there are only so many ways you can cook bread and eggs, which I was getting for free from my generous neighbor who had just gotten a bread machine and her back yard chickens were over producing. I was there 6 LONG months before I got a call. and it was a call from someone who'd already turned me down. and "went in another direction" turns out I was what the company needed and the life blood of the company.Hang in there. Iโm thinking about taking a job out out of my field. Thank you both. ๐ป๐ปI once took a job completely out of my field . rent was due, car payment was due, and there are only so many ways you can cook bread and eggs, which I was getting for free from my generous neighbor who had just gotten a bread machine and her back yard chickens were over producing. those 6 months though they opened the door for my 2nd career and eventually went back to it after the 1st ended.
On my tabletโฆ.I was finally able to get on fourms.
So I had REALLY bad luck. Over 700 applications sent out since September with nothing. So then I got this service for a month called jobhire dot ai. It takes in all of your information (resume, questions, personal preferences etc) and you turn it loose. I put it on auto and it went out and found jobs that fit my constraints and applied for me. Even wrote cover letters for each job. I thought, what the hell. I'll give it a month.Disheartening getting back 6 job apps saying no or they found someone.
