Agreed, if we brought back guests then the sellers and diddlers would just use a VPN and make multiple shell accounts, this would not only make the chats utterly flooded like Teen Chat org (I have so much beef with that place), but also be very risky to other users getting scammed or potentially abused.
Yes this can still happen due to them making actual accounts, but the likelihood of it has been drastically reduced now compared to when guests where able to speak.

I was going to write a rebuttal to this and then an end claim but I'm far too exhausted to yap anymore about it 😴
It would be a matter of programing to have the bots just wait out the "quiet period"
You would have to hardcode from Chat Ave end to restrict the amount of text the guest accounts can post, as well as add a delay between posts like 10 seconds or even 5 would slow them down immensely.

All you saying the spammers will just wait... yeah there is a big difference of the room being constantly spammed and spammed for 5 seconds every minute. Also, to those saying users would quit, if you aren't willing to wait 1 minute to join a chat you aren't a decent chatter anyway.

It’s just a standard setting in the admin panel and it’s mute or ghost all new registrations for x amount of time ……… that’s it

if everyone is just an anonymous guest then there will be no way to know someones age or gender or face 🙈
1. no more predators
2. no more catfishers
3. no more doxxing
vip doesn’t even actually matter, its just a gimmick anyways…
vip’s make up just a fraction of the income; everyone knows 90% of the income is made from the traffic generated by guests & the advertisers 🤷🏼♀️
all the countless threads debating the samething can all be solved by simply removing user registration, making everyone anonymous…
