A Question about GLB forum? Why do you nit include trans? Why only gay, lesbian and bisexua

My trans male friend (And in case you can't figure it out - that means they were born with tits) wants to know why a guy named "RandomGuyUK" is telling them how they are allowed to feel, based on their reproductive organs that will probably be soon replaced.

Cheers.

It's a complicated issue, I know.

(you are trying to use logical fallacies here - like I AM telling women how they feel, I am not. Be more intelligent).

I said People can feel however they want, but yet we cant change biological reality.

it is not possible to 'replace' reproductive organs.
It is invasive surgery, which renders people unable to bear or produce children.

Yes they can, we are all born women, hence the nipples, then 50% of us change into male. Some come our as hemaphrodite.

I am not sure whether the mom does not have enough testosterone or had something that blocked the release.

I know dudes at school who had female breasts.

Is that your fantasy?
you knew some fat dudes at school with moobs?

(all foetuses are born female, that is true yes).

a very very tiny percentage of births are hermaphrodite.

You wish that had happened for you. Micro Richthofen?

Let me make this clearer since you didn't seem to get it.

I have consideration and care for people who feel differently, but the whole 'trans' thing - its basically men telling women how they feel. "i feel like a woman inside" - oh, really. wow, amazing. who knew.
You suggested someone MtF transitioning was only doing it to dictate what I, as a female, should feel.

Ninja mentioned he had a FtM trans friend who wants to know what about women who are choosing to become males because of them being wired wrongly, since YOU (a biological male) would now be dictating what he (someone who WAS biologically female) feels.
(you are trying to use logical fallacies here - like I AM telling women how they feel, I am not. Be more intelligent).
You were. You missed the point and need to be more intelligent.

PS. No trans female/male has ever made me feel as unsafe as some cis men have. In fact their own battles usually reflect the hardships a lot of women have faced at least once, if not more, in terms of being belittled, silenced, threatened, and mocked by men. I'm sure most women you ask will have had the same experiences.

It's always weird how the focus is only ever on MtF trans people, like the anti-trans movement forgets many people transitioning are in fact going from FtM. It's also weird how people are focusing on 0.02% of the population like they are a threat to society more than failing health care systems, failing societies, recessions, wars etc are. Does someone transitioning directly affect you? If not... Why are you worried?

I dunno, maybe just something for you all to think about.

Lesbians have super sized kidney glands that release allot of testosterone. Explain that? Testosterome seems to be the thing that turns female to male.

You fookin goose. I love you. I'm laughing so much ❤️❤️❤️

"Lesbians have super sized kidney glands" lol Mr Statistics at the helm. Such a stupid thing to say!

@RandomGuyUK - excuse moi I already answered him. Don't panic ma Briton and Commonwealth bruh.

The statement that lesbians have oversized kidney glands producing high levels of testosterone is incorrect and not supported by scientific evidence. While testosterone is a key hormone in both males and females, and high levels in females can cause certain physical changes, the idea of super-sized kidney glands and a direct link between lesbianism and elevated testosterone is a harmful stereotype.
Here's why:
  • Testosterone in Females:
Testosterone is produced in both ovaries and adrenal glands in females, but in smaller quantities than in males. These levels are generally stable and not significantly affected by sexual orientation.

  • No Oversized Glands:
There's no evidence that lesbians have larger adrenal glands or that these glands produce excessive testosterone.

  • Sexual Orientation is Complex:
Sexual orientation is a complex aspect of human identity influenced by a combination of genetic, hormonal, and environmental factors during development. It's not determined by a single hormone level or gland size.

  • Harmful Stereotypes:
The idea of lesbians having "masculine" characteristics due to high testosterone is a harmful stereotype. These stereotypes can lead to discrimination and prejudice.

  • Testosterone and Physical Changes:
While higher testosterone levels in females can lead to certain physical changes like acne or increased hair growth, these changes are not exclusive to lesbians and are not indicative of sexual orientation.

  • Individual Variation:
Testosterone levels vary naturally between individuals, and there can be a wide range of normal levels for both males and females.
In short, the claim about lesbians and oversized testosterone-producing glands is not based on scientific facts and contributes to harmful stereotypes.

Moron.

He stalks minors and as been banned for it multiple times, Ofir.

Be careful who you support on here without knowledge.

Hai Louisa, gosh I get shy around you.

He does wot? I had no idea, his comment was funny, I'd have to know him to support him to which I do not know him at all but I loved his stupid comment for that reason, for its stupidity, and twice removed logic lol.

@Richthofen - if it's true what is said about you, to which the lady making the comment I do happen to like immensely, so my formed opinion is subjective rather than objective, best for you to consider to change your way.

Having said that, I have no further comment.

👍

sorry. I mean all foetuses begin as female in the womb, before we are born.

I did not suggest that.
I apologise, I derailed the subject of this thread.

isn't that the point? men have been telling women how they feel for hundreds of years.
Women have recently (100 years is recent, relatively speaking) got the vote, and power over their bodies and minds.
And now males who 'think' they are women 'inside' are telling them how they, you, feel.

it's something to think about yes.
and you are right, it is all focused on the guys who think they are women.
why that is I dont know. many reasons perhaps.

it doesnt directly affect me, but it annoys my sense of logic and reason. and fairness.
Why am I worried? Well why is anyone worried about anything?
We all have our views and opinions about everything in life. u know.

THAT SAID --- maybe a specific forum for trans people might be a good idea.
although i don't think it will work for females who have gender dysphoria.

You typed a lot there without actually answering anything.

A woman who is transitioning to become a male cannot be a male dictating my rights by wanting to become a male. The whole point of my post, which you then, once again, ignored.

What part of someone who doesn't affect you by transitioning isn't fair?

Keep in mind, in the UK we're even more regulated than the US whose stats and media is more prevalent when googling.

In the UK there is several months of therapy, living as the gender you're transitioning to etc and the transition period can span over several years. Multiple year wait lists are just for therapy.

We also have a society where smaller buildings (that the UK is renowned for) have consistently utilised gender neutral cubicle toilets, as are disabled toilets and baby changing facilities, for the most part, gender neutral... So that argument goes out the window too. It's not a new thing for everyone to be using the same toilets.

So... I'll ask two questions again and see if you answer this time.

1. How does a FtM trans person dictate my rights as a woman?
2. How does someone transitioning to be happier in themselves affect or inconvenience your life in any way?

I guess i didnt understand you. I wasnt trying to avoid answering.
Yet you are focusing on females with gender dysphoria - when, as we both recognised - it it males with gender dysphoria who get the most attention. - And for good reason, frankly.

to answer ---
1. I was talking about MtF, not FtM. (you are conflating the issue.). And yes, the issue is MtF.
How many born-females do you see trying to compete in male sports?
pretty much zero, because it's an unfair competition.
One of the issues is men - being faster and stronger - participating in women's sports.

2. it offends my sense of logic, and reason, and reality.
to turn the question around, why do YOU care? Why does anyone care about anything? We all choose to care about different things in life. When you try and make a point like why do I personally care? You arent making a particularly good or logical point.

but I do agree that respect, care, and kindness, and understanding people who want to be happier in their own ways in Life are important.

Female-to-Male (FTM) Transgender Athletes in Sports:

Chris Mosier – An American triathlete and duathlete, and the first transgender athlete to qualify for the U.S. Olympic team in 2016.
Fallon Fox – A mixed martial artist known for competing in the women's division before transitioning.
CeCe Telfer – A sprinter and middle-distance runner who transitioned and competed in collegiate athletics.
Mary Gregory – A transgender swimmer who has spoken publicly about her experiences.
Lia Thomas – A collegiate swimmer who has garnered significant media attention for her performances post-transition.

And then...

Male-to-female transgender athletes who have competed in sports:
  1. Fallon Fox – Mixed martial artist, known for competing in the women's MMA division.
  2. Laurel Hubbard – Weightlifter from New Zealand, competed in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
  3. Chris Mosier – Duathlete and triathlete, advocate for transgender sports inclusion; competed in men's events before transitioning.
  4. Sarah Testa – Track and field athlete, has competed in women's events after transitioning.
  5. Mack Beggs – Wrestler from Texas, competed in girls' wrestling divisions after transitioning.

Just an FYI, whilst the world was wrongly accusing Imane Khelif of being transgender in a woman's sport due to their fear mongering, there is actually a FtM boxer competing openly who never gets spoken about. A very real double standard in terms of that very same fear mongering. Why are we not worried he will be hurt but we're worried biological females will be?

I'm laying out a lot more logic than you are. I care because people kill themselves over the accusations and baseless remarks you're making with no reasoning even when challenged. You can have an opinion, but you don't need to state it when there's no reason for hatred or belittling. We don't have to type or say every little thing we think. I care because it could be my family member (my brother who is gay spent his youth fighting for the same rights transgender people now want) and I wouldn't want them to face a society where we cannot accept someone just because they felt they were built wrong.

Do you feel the same about women who get boob jobs? They were born with the wrong boobs and they're mutilating themselves just as much as someone who has top surgery.

You turn around and suggest that respect etc is important. But your first post on this topic in itself wasn't respectful. It was accusatory, belittling, and lacked care for someone who may read this public forum.

eg. --- "I Sexually Identify as an Attack Helicopter."
(and what if I do, identify like that?)

I Identify as a Tree. A Redwood tree. or maybe an Oak. I havent decided yet.
Are you going to argue? will you misgender me and tell I am NOT a tree?
This is the insanity and inanity of the modern western world.

We need to learn to be ourselves. We are who we are are. Nothing can change that.
We can't swap 'genders'. That is biologically impossible.

You didn't need to type any of this, but you did. You didn't need to be nasty in your delivery, but you were. Has any trans person on these forums belittled you for your lack of empathy or lack of intelligence on the multiple occasions I had to explain a simple difference to you? No? So why are you attacking a minority that has no impact on you living your life?

As I said much earlier... Something to think about.

And as a reminder... We can think things and not type or voice them, sometimes; especially when it might hurt innocent people for no good reason like us not understanding it. You don't need to understand something. Them transitioning doesn't mean you have to transition.

One last thing, if you're so worried about males hurting women, look at the biological ones not transitioning around you first. Because if you're implying men only transition to hurt women, you're also admitting the male gender as a whole want to hurt women... Maybe as men you should question why they think it's OK in the first place because these same men aren't hiding it, they're making jokes about it in plain sight and are male presenting, male identifying, and egged on by their peers🤷🏼‍♀️
