Maternal side was a drunk. She died of cirrhosis. Her and grandpa lived in a very small town, had a church and bar nothing else. They even had an outdoor toilet. Grand pa had been a coal miner. Visiting them was like going back in time like the depression era. Grandma's love was something to avoid.
