Can We Get a Mod-Signal or a Spam-Repellent, Please? 😅

People, whoever is responsible / @leigh Admin,

So… I’m starting to think our General Chat room has been possessed by spammers. Every time I login there’s 20 new spams offering me “exclusive CP” “Sex bots,” and more on the same lines.

We get moderating isn’t easy, and real life calls sometimes, but lately it feels like the mods have gone on a spiritual retreat to find inner peace while the spam army took over the place.
Could we maybe send out a mod-signal? Like a big glowing logo in the sky?
Or perhaps just enable some better spam filters or hire more mods (who actually is available esp. during non US timings) so we can actually see normal users post again without wading through mountains of nonsense.

Hiring new mods this week so that’s exciting and working on finding some more before the year is out, especially for the times mentioned. It’s a tough time slot to fill, but I have hope.

Unfortunately, the downfall to this role is that it’s voluntary so sometimes people don’t show up - whether that’s because they need a break or because they’re busy with real life.

I figured it would be easier to find mods, but it seems like all rooms for the most part have slowed down in that aspect. I wish you luck!
