Scientific theories have been tested so hard that they're no longer really theories as most people define the word, i.e just an idea. They're supported by empirical evidence and have been proven over and over.

Religion is based on what? Zero evidence. Just blind faith. All religions achieve a degree of popularity for some people and then fizzle out.

Maybe I’ll just believe it was the Big Bang……yeah I’m safe that way. There was no time before the big bang so I’m safe if anybody asks me questions. Hahahaha.

Or even better I’ll just believe that the Big Bang is cyclical….. oh wait a minute…. after we reach absolute heat death how can there be another big bang? Maybe something magical happens…. or maybe it’s just a static existence for all eternity…..hahahaha
