What cause are gay people fighting for exactly? They have same rights as everyone else. Perhaps you're inventing problems in your head that don't exist. LGB has nothing to do with the T it's completely different.

What rights do trans people want and what rights do they think they don't have?

The people who fought for gay rights in the first place were not cross dressers and trans women that's just the narrative from trans activists and captured organisations like stonewall.
@emileh try answering the questions without resorting to ad hominem

'Everyone is allowed their opinion ' unless their opinion differs from yours on the topic of Lgbt. Isn't that right Louize. When people who are NOT lgbt convey their opinion and you disagree, you denigrate them, you assert they have a phobia, you say they're hateful, bigots etc etc. Many on the left do this. In real life and on this forum.

They do exactly what they say shouldn't be done to them i e attack people for being different and having different beliefs, views.

The words bigot, transphobe are the words you 'and many use as a slur. The 'trans people are being attacked for existing ' narrative is ridiculous. All humans exist. They are losing the support of the majority of people because of what some in that community are DOING it's not because of them BEING trans. There's a difference.

Even some trans people have said it's gone too far. What are they doing?

Demanding compelled speech, demanding people use their pronouns, cancel culture, demanding to use the changing areas of the opposite sex, compete in the sports of the opposite sex, distorting language, trying to erode the meaning of woman to accomodate their own identity, ideology is being imposed onto children as if it's imperical scientific fact, the ramifications of this include confusion , sterilization, medicalistion, mutilation.
They are Infringing on women's rights.

It's not about them 'existing ' it's about what they're doing.

How many trans activists advocate for trans only spaces, sports? None, zero.

You say christians believe in an imaginary being. Ok I say trans people believe in an imaginary identity. Funny how you never tell muslims they believe in an imaginary being, it's against the woke rules isn't it Louise you can only mock , criticise Christians because muslims have 'oppressed group 'status. You won't be called christianphobic.

It's illegal to be lgbt in muslim countries but most LGBT people, most leftists are silent about that fact, instead their vitriol is directed at Christians and Christian countries. If lgbt people moved to muslim countries and be openly lgbt there they would understand what discrimination and oppression is.
@emileh try offering a counter argument without resorting to ad hominem

Plenty of counter arguments in the other threads you've tried pushing your tired old transphobic agenda in. You've never attempted to actually respond to them even when I gave you the title and reference number of an actual scientific paper that might have straightened your head out a bit. I wonder why that was? Did it ruin your confirmation bias? Hmmm?

By the way all of the parts of the LGBT movement are minorities that face open bigotry like this thread regularly. They're much the same as far as that goes but again, that doesn't support your tired old agenda does it?

Class dismissed.

See quote. Did you read the scientific paper I gave you the title and reference for? Hmmm?

@emileh I will give you one last chance ok...

Offer a counter argument without ad hominem

Give answers without ad hominem

People can find my counter arguments in your other threads.

Did you read the scientific paper I gave you the title and reference for? Hmmm?
No they cannot because those questions were not asked, it's different points in this thread. You're refusing to offer a counter argument or answer the questions because all you have is ad hominem and you know it.

I won't give you the attention anymore you're incapable of critical thinking and having a rational debate

It's the same old same old every time from you, so my prior responses apply and unlike you, I'm not a fan of repeating myself.

I'll ask you once again though, did you read the scientific paper I gave you the title and reference for? Hmmm?

The whole point of the LGBT movement is to treat people as equals and embrace the differences. While being trans isn't the same boat as being gay, the community itself can be joined because they're fighting for the same cause and were discriminated against for the same reason and time as the gay community.

Remember - the people that fought really hard for gay rights in the first place, back when rolling people into carpets and lighting them on fire was a normal Tuesday - were mostly cross dressers and trans women. (Stonewall et all)

Okay - Genuine question... Why do you say it is "not your scene" is it your scene when it is only LGB? Is it the T portion that puts you off it?

I'm not trying to cause drama here - I'm trying to understand the thought process of someone who seems to disagree without being a vile person about it, if that makes sense?

Everyone is allowed their opinion, I fully support that, but you can have an opinion and berate or belittle others whilst doing so for simply existing.

Oh he's off on one of his transphobic agenda broadcasting rants again. Same tired old far right/religious right tropes "oh won't somebody think of the children/women". etc. etc. Repeat ad nauseum until he realises he's done then leave for a while and come back with yet another new user account under a different username...

So boring.

way too boring to read yes. he is another user who doesnt know the meaning of the word 'concise' xd

yet, and still, ... deleted has some valid points.
no?

yes, no, maybe?
perhaps ... possibly?

no?
Just for everyone who didn't read almost a whole page of dispute, can you make a bullet point of the points he had? I'll be more than glad to properly address them.

The one I saw is "What are gay people fighting for that they don't already have" - my best answer is that when I went to a small town in Missouri, I felt a lot of hate, and some people got rather aggressive seeing me and my partner.

It's not a debate of rights anymore, it's a debate of respect. Something that Deleted kinda proved - he has no respect for gay people, saying that we're making up problems and such, without really providing any hard proof that being gay is as safe as being straight in small towns in America. THAT is the problem.

Any others I might've missed?

You're making it all about you and you're prevaricating. If some people were aggressive to you and your partner it doesn't mean gay people don't have the same rights as everyone else. Respect is earned it's not incumbent on me to respect anyone because of their sexuality, gay, bi or straight.

Saying 'he has no respect for gay people ' is just you trying to denigrate me because you disagree. I have friends who are gay. I never said gay people 'in general ' are making up problems that don't exist. I said perhaps YOU are. Is being a straight white conservative Christian male safe in woke college campuses, is being a Jew safe in predominantly muslim areas? Probably not.

The world is not America and this is not the 20th century.

That's not pertinent to what you quoted. I've already answered whether I read your pseudoscience. I answered in this thread.

I've looked and can't find a response to the question about the published, peer reviewed SCIENTIFIC paper I referenced for you.

So what was the post number with the response then? It should be a simple yes or no answer.

Does anyone know what the + is in LGBTQ+ is there a definition?
