Why does this even exist in its present form?

I went in for 2 minutes and had 2 15 year olds like my profile.

These are children, why are they allowed to be in a room where Adults interact?

If I was a PDo I could talked to them in PM's and the mods would have no idea I was.

It serves no purpose for someone under 18 to be in a room where adults are allowed, other than to promote PDo chat and CP.

Suggestion since that is what this place is for:
1. Remove all users under the age of 18 from all chats that allow Adults
2. Put it on the Admins and Mods to enforce this, no exceptions. You enter an adult chat you are banned, if you are an adult that enters a child chat you are banned.
3. If you are caught interacting with a child, you are reported to the appropriate Law Enforcement agency.

The users young or old are not going to police themselves, and though an Admin says there are lots of child safety features built into the site, I just proved there are none.

Gen chat is 13-99. Thats the way it is. You choose to go into that room knowing there are sub 18. Many users have requested it changed, it was 16+ I think at one point, but the OWNER chose to put it back to 13+. Its not the only 13-99 room on CA I may add as well.

Every single room in chat ave has the issues you mention. You modded adult, as did I. How many children did we find in there? BUT WAIT, its an 18+ room, they arent supposed to be in Adult, yet they are. People on the internet will do what they want, we can only react. And making it an 18+ room with all these blind restrictions that are reaction only, wont do what you want.

Interactions amongst all ages, are allowed. They MUST be appropriate and we do monitor them very closesly.

A UA liking your profile, saying hi to you, even a conversation is allowed and OK.

We need to get out of this stigma that any interactions between adult and children are automatically bad.

The second it crosses that line, its dealt with faster than the Colorado Avalanches complete collapse in round 3.

You are correct, malicious or inappropriate behavior can happen. We cant avoid it like Minority Report, we can only act when its reported or in our sight. This is how all of the internet works, not just CA.

We get your intent, you are preaching to the very loud choir though. Thanks for the feedback, you are welcome to come enjoy Gen Chat with the many users it has, and within our rule set.

Ill let @TheLeigh answer this, but you are wrong. There are many, many you dont get to see as a user. Cross the line and youll see just how fast the hammer falls.

So because I bring an issue up in suggestion up that I see as an issue you threaten me. Good thing I also addressed this to CM.
I created a profile there because I was told not to comment on chats I am not a part of. So now I am a member and can comment which I did.

No threat, its actually a promise. Despite the volume we deal with, we are very efficient with what we do as Gen Chat mod team and our Admin is very fierce with sending the scum right out the airlock, when protocol is followed, proper evidence is collected and submitted.

It was a blanket statement. Anyone crosses the line from General conversation and we find out, the hammer falls.

Its not an issue though. If you have an issue being in a room with UA18, dont be in it?
We handle it as soon as it surfaces. You are using a very thin example to try and further your agenda against the site. You arent the first, wont be the last, and guess what, its still the same site.

Protocol when handling complaints about a room. You also referenced that you were told not to comment about rooms you arent apart of so I just want to verify you are in the room and advice my Admin accurately.

Hard pass. I have gone over your and your admins head. If they choose to reply to me then you will know.
 
Quote me the Protocol Rule or the Room Rules and I will comply. But I do not allow mods and admins to make up rules as they go.
And as a Mod, I was never told there is a protocol if there is a complaint about a room, and there were many about the rooms I worked.

You have not told me why I should give you my profile name in the Gen Chat.
And so until I see a rule that requires me to identify myself there I will not be doing that and quoting what I posted makes no sense.

What is the point of being intentionally difficult? I am asking because its standard, every admin expects us as mods (when you were one) to collect atleast a username so they can handle any complaints, kick bans, ect. You know this.

You said Leigh told you that you need an account in the room, so why would she not want the account name to verify? Makes full sense.

I already found who I think you are in GC. I just wanted you to confirm it so that I save my Admin some time when she addresses this.
 
I am not being Difficult.
I have been burned on here by admins and mods so many times I have no trust in any of them.
And actually I never had to ask a user for their information, if I made a report I knew who I reported.
I have observed you and your admins behavior in here and I will not provide it unless you give me a rule that says I have too.
And by the way I have read the rules for the forum and the GC. Neither of them require me to provide such information since I have broken no rules.

You aren't trying to handle my complaint you above stated your stance on the issue.
 
See I was Trained as a mod to help the users, to never make fun of their issues. To treat them as I'd like to be treated even when actting on illegal activity, no cheap shots no jabs, just do the job.

I have watch you and other mods and admins turn the forum into a punching bag for users.
People have issues they care about, only to be ridiculed.
Mods and admins have let favored users take shots at people and not had a thing done to them.

I used to think staff all acted professionally, I now do not.

So quote me a rule and I will tell you. I have no idea why you even need it, you told you your position at the beginning anyway.

You are. You self posted that the Admin required you to have an account, you then posted you have one, its standard that we ask users on the forums what their username is in the Chat Room. You know this, stop being intentionally ignorant.

The issue with you right now is, your mind is made up before you even post a thread about what you perceive is an issue, and that clouds things when you bring up legit issues. You also are not coming by anything honestly.

If the username in Gen is the one I think it is, this is false.

I understand the optics of a 13-99 room. If it was my site, I wouldnt allow it, but its not my site. I choose to be in there as a moderator to help keep all of the users of Gen Chat safe and free from as much crap as I can within my powers.

I gave you facts, not my stance. I told you flat out, adults and minors can interact in Gen Chat as long as it is clean PG13. That is how it is. You can have your opinion on it like everyone else, but when you start painting us with a certain brush, that is offside, you know it and you are doing it to get a rise out of us so you can make your complaints like you did the second you interpreted something as a threat to you personally vs what it was.

Leigh will address this moving forward.

Again, I have seen how you treat users. If I had treated users in that Manor Diff would have fired me.

But do not accuse me of joining to talk to children. I believe it is illegal for the site to allow people under 18 to be in the same chat as over 18 year olds.

There are no safe guards, because you or anyone else cannot see what they chat about in DM. So you can bet most of the adults in there are Pedos.

Why would an Adult want to chat with a 15 year old.
