Ban Appeal - Adult Teen Chat Room - Underage False Accusation


My Chat Username: xanaano

Time of Ban: Today, August 1

Hello Administration,
I am writing to appeal a sudden ban from the Adult Chat room regarding false accusations about my age. My date of birth is August 10, 2007, which makes me 18 years old and legally permitted to use this room.
A group of users in the chat room were arguing with me and maliciously lied to a moderator, claiming I am underage. They even made some AI pics to convince to mods that Im overage. Prior to the ban, a different moderator spoke with me, verified my age, and even told the other users to stop because she confirmed I am 18. Shortly after, a second female moderator arrived, listened to the lying users without speaking to me or checking the previous mod's confirmation, and immediately issued a ban.
This is a clear case of a false report by toxic users. I respectfully ask a Senior Administrator to look at the room logs from today to verify this sequence of events and lift the ban. Thank you for your time.

@neymar I recommend making your own ban appeal thread. I also recommend not making any comments of being overage, whether a joke or not.

Yes, that's me in Gen Chat. The issue isn't with that account. In the Teen Chat room, my display name shows as xanaano, not Neymar.

What happened was really unfair. A group of users falsely claimed that I was overage. Before the ban, another moderator actually took the time to speak with me directly, asked me questions, and determined that those accusations were false. She even told the users to stop making those false claims.

However, shortly afterward, another moderator came in and banned me almost immediately without speaking to me, verifying my age, or checking what the first moderator had already established. From my perspective, it felt like my side of the story was never heard before the ban was issued.

I'm simply asking for someone to review the chat logs from that incident. I believe they'll show that the accusations against me were false and that the ban was made without considering the earlier moderator's findings. Thank you for taking the time to look into it.

I'm appealing my ban from the Teen Chat room.

My username is xanaano. The ban happened after a group of users falsely claimed that I was overage. Before I was banned, another moderator actually spoke with me directly, asked me questions, and determined that the accusations were false. She told the users to stop making those false claims.

However, shortly afterward, I was banned by a different moderator without being given a chance to explain my side or, as far as I could tell, without considering what had already been established.

I understand that I previously made a joke about being overage, and I realize now that it was a bad joke that could have caused confusion. I won't make jokes like that again.

I respectfully ask that the Teen Chat logs from the incident be reviewed. I believe they will show what happened and that the reports against me were false.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
