Whats up with the lack of mods and tons of spammers???

I mean seriously, there are sick spammers in and out all day and rarely any mods. I hardly ever see mods. I thought this was a teen room, why are their disgusting bots/spammers in there all the time?

Mods are volunteer workers and cannot be online 24/7. They do their best though. No matter how many times the bots/spammers are kicked, they relentlessly keep coming back. I am sorry that you are bothered by this, understandably so. @ShadowHawk @TheLeigh

I understand the frustration with the amount of spam lately. Our moderators are volunteers and can’t realistically be in the room 24/7, and unfortunately the spammers don’t seem to stick to a set schedule.

If you’re someone who is regularly active in Teen Chat and genuinely interested in helping keep the room clean and welcoming, you’re always welcome to consider applying for a mod position. Having more reliable staff coverage can definitely help when the spam starts piling up.

In the meantime, please keep reporting the spam when you see it - it really does help us get it dealt with faster.
