📊 Poll: Should Teen-Chat be Shut Down???

dolla here doing god’s work with a new, & serious poll for yall to ponder 💭

now since the suggestion section doesn’t allow for making polls anymore ( ridiculous, i know ); i thought the next best place would be here, in the general forums…

afterall, this is a poll that effects the website in general, right?? & that poll is about whether or not;

TEEN-CHAT SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN 🙅🏼‍♀️

why??? welp, before we get into a list of other reasons for starters 75% of the sex offenders that lurk within the shadows here would simply go away; & thats bc teen-chat is responsible for why chat-avenue is a breeding ground for sex offenders, bc when a sex offender googIes teen chat or any general phrasing when searching for a chat for teens the first thing that shows up on the list is chat-avenue…

i wonder why that is, hmmm 🤔

we can beat around the bush all we like, but we all know this is the truth; & anyone who genuinely believes otherwise is either smoking some serious copium, or has a sinister ulterior motive ( prove me wrong ) 🤷🏼‍♀️

& with that said, here is a list of other reasons why teen-chat should be shut down 📋

⭐️ kids chat is already shut down ( frankly what was even the difference between the two anyways?? )

⭐️ chat-avenue 2026 attracts more adults than teenagers ( most of the teens here are secretly weird adults larping as teens anyways )

⭐️ general chat, girls chat, & boys chat all serve as a safe 13+ alternative ( just childish adults )

⭐️ the volunteer staff already openly admit they’re powerless over the on going issue with sex offenders, especially as guests; so we might as well eliminate the source & starve them ( source = teen-chat )

i feel like anyone who cares about the safety of our youth would agree that teen-chat has gots to go…

thats especially now with the revelation of the epstein files, & how chatrooms were used to target vulnerable kids ( clearlys still is too ) 👩🏼‍💻

but what say you community, should teen-chat be shut down once & for all like kids chat was???

which is honestly a safer alternative, & even if not by much at least what sex offenders ( & fake teens ) that will remain will be contained in one place unlike how it is now...

not to mention babe, havin' general chat still for this reason is a safer alternative even if by just the name; bc there won't be anything advertising anymore that there is a teen-chat here, let alone anything that even has to do with teens once teen-chat is shut down 🤷🏼‍♀️

tbh general chat might even get better with nothin' to attract teens to chat-avenue anymore; bc with no teen-chat there will be nothin' in googIe's algorithm attracting teens, so there'd be lil' to no reason why an actual teenager would make their way to this corner of the internet...

I say the site is full of sex offenders as with most chat sites throught out the internet, it's an anonymous playground for them, in saying this my preference is to elimnate teen chat, remove teens from general chat (18+) they already have girls, boys chat which can be monitored more effectively and create a safe space there. Teens and adults should never been in the same anonymous area as this is a prime playground for sex offenders. As seen on the lists and this would reduce gen chat traffic by 3/4 as there is prob only 40 regular ********.

The sex rooms are a sesspit for kinks, fetish's and continual please say you wont do that again and I will unban you threads continually or appologising for access.

So I agree with the poll thanks Dolla with your throat provocting ideas.

It only makes sense, after Kid’s Chat being shut down, that Teen Chat should go for the same reason. It does mean that there will be an influx of teen accounts in General Chat, as we’ve already seen, along with an influx of pedos and spam in General.

I feel like it is time to make some *official* side rooms in General Chat. One for “Registered Users Only”… No guests allowed. This side room exists in other chat rooms, so I don’t understand why it doesn’t exist in General, when it is obviously needed, and has been asked for by many.

I know that VIPS can create side rooms in General, and someone even attempted to create one where no guests are allowed, but an official side room pinned at the top is needed.

I also agree with the above… That General Chat should be 18+, and minors shouldn’t even be in chat with adults, but that’s why Teen Chat even exists as a co-ed room for teens. The update they made with the “Child Safety” option was likely their answer to this issue in General, I assume.

Side room for 18+? Side room for VIPS? There has to be some way for registered members and paying members to get away from the pedophiles and constant spam. The obvious answer is to do away with guests, but money is more important than safety and community to the site owners, so all you can do is find ways to work around it. People have shared some good ideas.
