I just wanted to bring up something about the moderation on Teen Chat. I put in a moderator application around a month or two ago and still havent heard anything back. At the same time I rarely see mods active in the rooms and when they are on it seems like theyll kick a few people and then leave again. I also keep seeing spam and bots sitting in the chat for a while. I know mods cant be online all the time but it just feels like there could be a little more consistent moderation. If someone was around for even 30 minutes or so at a time I feel like a lot of the spam and bots would get caught pretty quickly. Honestly its kind of exhausting seeing it over and over and I feel like Teen Chat is slowly dying out because of the lack of response time and communication too. Im not trying to complain about the current mods or anything I just think its something worth looking into and Id also like to know if theres any update on my application

I **** on working for free as all moderators here do, since you're admitting your time is so worthless you have to give it out for free, but there's a lesson to learn about life regardless.

Its not what you know how diligent you are, how talented you are even its who you know and unfortunately you don't know the right people to hook you up for the enviable position of doing a job that should be paid for free.

The funny part is people will defend their serf position here which is hilarious to me. See i dont see charity as a bad thing, but a person planting a cherry tree will live to see it be enjoyed by others and bear fruit that they will savor. What do you achieve here except enrich the owners who cant throw a symbolic 50 bucks and a plaque saying thank you for being a sap ?

Anyways good luck, we need all sorts of people. Imagine if everyone was wise, ambitious and capable.. We'd all feel little, overwhelmed and intimidated to reach our peaks. Luckily while there are giants among us, there are twice as many potatoes

honestly, i just wanted mod so i could kick everyone, plus i used ai for that entire report. 🤷‍♀️
