Pretty much every thread in here is met in here with harsh criticism of mods and locked. The recent finn thread i made was apparently locked because of "spam". No one has bothered contacting me about it. Ive contacted admins and no response. As far as chat avenue admins is concerned, its already dealt with. Why do i not deserve to know what has been done as a recourse to Finns abuse of moderating? There is a vast difference in me telling you ive dealt with it as there is to me telling you this is how we dealt with it. Is that the way all the threads are around here? I cant seem to find a thread where the person making a complaint is happy with the outcome or resolution. People just get tired of posting and talking to "walls", threads are forgotten, and people move on from chat avenue. Everyone that makes a complaint is apparently a troll from what ive gathered reading through multiple threads.

Lets face it moderators aren't perfect and neither are users. I have been on chat avenue for 6 months and for 6 months i have continued to see turmoil between mods and users. The simple fact is that until chat avenue sets rules that are black and white, nothing is going to stop. Leaving the right for moderators to make their own judgement means leaving the right for moderators to be biased, catty, petty, and abusive to users whom they dislike. As well as completely ignoring, yielding, and looking the other way for people that they favor. This is the injustice that will never stop. This is what all the people who come here bitch about and only leaves them 2 options. Stay quiet and surrender to the mod like an abused housewife or leave. Well its easy for moderators to tell people to leave right, that means one less headache to deal with.
I dont understand how its logical for a moderator to reprimand BILLY for posting something and not reprimand BOB for posting the same thing. You go to admin to try to resolve the issue and the response is "the moderator you have been complaining about for 2 months is doing this because he has your best interests in mind". You guys know what an exploit is right. Yup moderators can exploit the rules just as much as trolls can exploit the chat. Moderators arent perfect, theyre not robots they all make up their own judgement and bend the rules how they see fit. So how is a user who is being harassed ever supposed to have justice?
It is physically impossible for me or anyone to prove I'm being harassed, because there is so much room for a moderator to reprimand you the way they see fit. Literally how the **** am i suppose to prove someone else's intentions? How do you prove someones state of mind? Clearly sending moderators/admins screenshots showing apples to oranges moderating for 2 months doesn't seem to provide enough evidence of harassment but rather provides evidence of "constant bitching".
I've seen it with me, I've seen with other users, boys and girls alike. Ive seen it with multiple moderators, across multiple rooms. Ive seen it in these forums that no one ever looks at except moderators. Do you guys not see a problem with this to come up with the right resolution or do you guys just not care because you are the high horses?

Example:
Nudity: Yes or NO > Not allowed
Cussing: Yes or NO > allowed
Gifs: Yes or NO > allowed
Instead of:
Inappropriate sexual discussion is not allowed on main
Certain words are banned and censored in the chat room
"certain gifs are not allowed"
How is a user supposed to know what words are banned and censored in chat and which arent? What words are deemed inappropriate if no list exists.
Sexually inappropriate: what is sexually inappropriate? Ive seen people warned for saying the word spank and other people post pornstars on chat and be ignored. If the mods had black and white rules then everyone would be treated fairly.
This folks, is proof that it is pointless to come here to the forums to try and find a resolution to your problems on chat.

He wants us to go into detail about every rule. He wants the small print. You’re wasting your time, the rules thread would be huge.. those are common sense rules.
you are a 30 year old and you do not know what “no sexual talk/discussion” means?... give us a break. You do not like being reprimanded, and when others are missed by a HUMAN MOD you get mad cause you did and they didn’t. Get over it, follow the rules that are common sense. You test, and test, and test the mods till you became someone to look after because you’ve proven that you like to test authority. VGC has 13 year olds, you are about 20 years older than that, think about the things that you’d allow your kids to see. No one is biased towards you, the “proof” you showed also shows that you break rules constantly, fix yourself first.
if I honestly thought there was something going on where a user is treated unfairly by a mod I’d deal with it.

No im asking quite the opposite in fact. Yes/no is all the detail i need.
Give me a break. Jason is 33, he also knows what “no sexual talk/discussion” means? Users should not need to be reprimanded for saying the words SPANK and POOTYTANG.
While youngandmenace is on the same chat calling saying bitch and ****. He knows what hes doing.
This isnt about sexual discussion its about moderators have the ability to harass. So address the issue as a whole. The fact is the stuff ive been reprimanded for exists between some fine line of what is acceptable and what is not. A fine line that only a MOD can determine. A fine line that changes threshold from person to person. A line which set to 0 tolerance for a person a mod dislikes and 10 for people whom the mod is friends with.

I'm not saying we should have a universal set of rules for all chats. I'm saying that the rules should be clear yes this allowed and no its not allowed. Not leave rules with a definition for each mod to interpret as they wish. Because then they won't apply the same definition to everyone fairly.
