Safety/Legal concerns and general nonsense with Enchantress

So, before I get into this I want to say it took me a long time of think to come to this conclusion. At the end of the day, I felt the site and even ******** well being could possible be harmed due to something I saw in main a couple weeks ago, something that in no way can be taken lightly. It would go against everything I stand for and everything I've tried doing in order to help Girls Chat grow prior to, during, and now after being a moderator.

In this first link, a user who claims to be 16 years old, says Enchantress is going to them. Now, in the past, these two have been incredibly close both in friendships and also location. It's of course 100% normal for two people who live near one another to discuss things in their area. So them talking about a certain beach near them didn't seem like much until seeing this claim of a real life meeting on the horizon. Not only is sharing social media not allowed in Girls Chat, but discussing a meet up is 150% against the rules. Beyond the rules, a meet up where the two met on this site and then God forbid something bad happen to either one of them, the site could be held liable. Now, this next part is NOT a judgement of character or me claiming anything other than a simple possibility. I was to start off by saying a picture in a chat room doesn't mean much to me whatsoever. I do not base my feelings towards somebody on a profile picture. I look at their character. With that being said, Enchantress in the past used a porn star as a profile picture (Which I believe was mentioned in a thread years ago). Could it be self confidence issues or just not wanting to have her picture up? 100% could be the case. However, on the possibility they aren't who they claim to be and Kirra actually is, a meet up could go incredibly wrong. Again, I am not claiming anybody isn't who they say the are, but simply pointing out how this is a really bad look. I care about this site, that room, and the ******** too much to risk something like that happening when something could have been said.

These two were given to me by a chatter who felt comfort able enough to let me know what is being said behind my back yet again by Enchantress. I've had plenty say things like this, but all too nervous to give proof because let's face it, if Enchantress is willing to go to the lengths she did against me (Lying and photoshop) she clearly will go after anyone for anything. Due to my concerns and the safety of this chatter, I have blocked out their name. However, the originals have been sent to those who need to see them unblocked. Ever since her attack on me, I've done what I can do let it die and lay in the past. When approached by people backing her up or even in my support, I ask them to drop it, the room doesn't need the drama. My goal has always been to try my best to make Girls Chat enjoyable whether that be through music or terrible jokes that somehow still get a laugh. Enchantress on the other hand has kept the clique mentality, keeping the drama alive, and clearly still making things up about me as well. Why she needs to claim she removed me I'll never know. I don't know what that gets her, I stepped down. Although according to that screenshot, I'm also an "it", so I guess we really see how this person thinks.

Overall regardless if its chatter safety, legal liability, or just plain immaturity, Enchantress is keeping Girls Chat held back. Other moderators in the room are working their tails off trying to get it back to how it was years ago, a place that can continue to grow. The room and those ******** deserve better than what they are getting. Continuous attacks no matter who they are on will never allow Girls Chat to live up to it's true potential. There is enough work for the moderators to do, this nonsense just shouldn't be taking place. When others have tried to move on, this person won't. Regardless if it's for show or potential for the future, there are people involved with what she did that I'm able to at least crack jokes with or say hi to from time to time without feeling any hostility between us, like how things should be handled. Enchantress seems to use their position as a room admin to keep rumors going, make up more, and keep it all in the shadows. That is rather weird and just wrong. Again, the site, the room, and the ******** deserve better. This should be an escape for everyone, a place to get away from the real world. It shouldn;t be just for the ones she picks and chooses.

Going to Enchantress has been proven to be wasted effort time and time again sadly.
 
Right just to give my own side...while being an admin, there have been points in the beginning where I felt as if I was in denial. Truth hurts, and the people around you are most definitely going to let you know when you should straighten up and take charge. They'll let you know when you screw up and there's no option but to consider what they say~ not just let it go in one ear and out the next.

But when you actually open your eyes and start working at making the truth something better than it once was, then you'll get the positive feedback. That's the only way to snap out of it, to stop living in a lie and begin to accept your faults. The proof is all here, now it's up to you to own up to your mistakes. To realise that not everything you do is going to be perfect, but that's okay. What's not okay is going against your own support system and wasting time by trying to find the truth in a lie.

There is no Chat Avenue without these users, so provide them with what they need and make the best of it. Make it a chill environment and set aside your own personal feelings for their sake. And most of all, don't treat admin as a burden. Treat it as an honourable privilege that you're actually being remembered as that person who helped someone in a time of need. That's what it means in my eyes, and like I said..no one can help you unless you're willing to commit yourself to seeking help and getting better.

lets face it. theres only so much a chat site/ private website can do. they can remove their status and ban them but thats about it. if your goal is to embarrass her and take her "job" Chatmaster is who it needs to start and end with.

-HOWEVER-

if you feel as strongly as you say about the safety and well being of those not of age, you should report it to authorities. many have anonymous online tip lines & forms that can filled out just like this post. even if you start local if they believe there is something there they will move it up internally. the national line for usa is ncmec and can be found here https://www.missingkids.org/gethelpnow/cybertipline . the one for the uk is ceop and can be found here https://nationalcrimeagency.gov.uk/what-we-do/crime-threats/child-sexual-abuse-and-exploitation .in austraila the govt police ask you to go to local authorities or contact them through this form https://forms.afp.gov.au/online_forms/ocset_form . if you live in other areas, there is help, i just dont have the resources off hand to give you. after you send the report its rare that you will be contacted back, and when its investigated they could find that nothing, they could find everything , they could come back at you or another person if they find interference in the case. so my advice : if you go this route then go and leave it alone after. no drama in the room, on forums, or other social medias. nothing.

I often(almost everyday) report users to NCMEC. However, what comes out of it is beyond me.

im a r/l required reporter, ive used ncmec. however i do have other channels. between the 2, the other channels are more responsive.

ive used ncmec for here & twice have heard back, but on both those accounts it also involved emails sent to me. others have had a response rate to, but it is touch and go. from my r/l experience these reports take a while to investigate.

Trying to embarrass somebody is never something I would want. As I said, it took me a while to think about what i felt is best. Enchantress uses their position as room admin to keep things hidden, talk behind closed doors, and do all the can to hurt people who will not bend to their will. There are many voices in Girls Chat that are not allowed to be heard because Enchantress will make their lives a living hell. I do not agree that the whole staff needs replaced, however Enchantress does. Every room will have issues, that can't be avoided. However, when months and months over abuse takes place, I'd think the rest of the staff would like to see it all come to an end as well. To directly answer yo, I would 100% love the opportunity to change that room into something better. I was well liked as a moderator because I was fair and didn't break the room down into cliques. My words and who i am as a person are not a game or mask. We all mess up, things happen, but with Enchantress it's repeated behavior over and over, A moderator is a position of trust, an admin would be even more. I can PM you with countless other things that goes on which is 100% against this site which Enchantress is involved with. Again nobody is perfect, but that room has a mixture of ages and the first set of screenshots shows something that could potentially have severe consequences. Could I do better as the admin? Sure. Is that the only or even main reason behind this post? Not at all. Enchantress is personally responsible for countless things that are just beyond say an accidental kick. Personal attacks, lying, rumors, photoshopping images, and the clique mentality. Girls Chat is 100% a laughing stock now and after years of being there and trying to make it friendly or help out, I just want something better for everyone. I don' think that is a lot to ask, the nonsense needs ended.

Very well said. It is a tragedy what Girls Chat has become. I'm never one to say every complaint is legitimate. A lot are unjustified, but I've been doing all I can in out room to stop the drama, rekindle at least talking relationships with those who were duped as much as I was by Enchantresses actions at the end of last year. Other threads have been posted about little things, I chose not to reply. At the end of the day, I felt it was my responsibility to speak up and say something. These rooms should be an escape, a fun place, a better place than what Girls Chat is now and keeping it from what it could become.
