Someone told me my bio was changed and I thought I was hacked. I'm newish here and didn't know mods have the power to change other people's profiles/accounts. I put my bio back and HR PufnStuf said my bio was against the rules. I said "why not just say that instead of putting your name it?" Apparently the issue is my social handles. The rules say not to post any else's social info, it also says no social handles, or links in the public main chat. It's my own social not any else's so that follows the rules, and it was on my profile not the main chat, which is also within the rules. HR PufnStuf says that's a grey area and he belives my personal profile is the main chat so he can remove my bio at his discretion. I redid my bio without the social links and he deleted part of it. I asked why my cosplay company got deleted because it isn't a social handle, and he muted me for asking. I put the cosplay company back in my bio, because again he said social handles, and it wasn't one, and he kicked me. Reason: "Putting social handles and company in profile pic," (which is a lie because it wasn't on my profile pic). I put an entirely different bio that said "my profile is the main chat, gaslighting is required, power trips are encouraged, fun chat very cool," which he deleted and said he felt personally attacked.
I say newish because I used to chat here a while ago in college. The website and rules are a lot different now, but I recognised an old chatter after they started calling me a catfish (again). In 2017 Ash called me a catfish and put my full name in the chat claiming it's the person I'm posing as, in an attempt to "prove" I was catfishing. She denied doing this present day, and when I was able to recover an old screenshot of her doing so, I was kicked from the chat by HR PufnStuf. Reason: "Posting another user's photo; it's in the rules you like to quote."
When I returned, I said the forum rules don't say it has to be another chatter's pic it says "anyone else's" meaning anyone besides yourself, and suggested he should kick everyone using a photo of another person. He said it has to be another chatter (another one of those grey area/mod discretion rules). I asked if posting someone's full name (what Ash did) in the chat is considered one of of those grey areas to him as well, to which he responded he doesn't get involved in chat drama/ personal disputes. From that point on I ignored him, and talked to my sister about a game I was playing. I looked away from the chat for a min because I got shanked in the game, and when I looked back I was kicked for... calling a mod racist? I hadn't even spoken to him, or in the chat in general for a while. I was in game? WTF? At this point he's just making stuff up! I went on a guest to ask him how I called him "racist" if I was in game and the last person I @ was my sister. He said I was evading and kicked me again.. What a great way to dodge a question again. Someone told me to speak to @Chatmaster about it.
