Question regarding 'idle' VIP account deletion.

I know of at least one paid lifetime VIP account that was deleted, but the user wasn't banned, and didn't delete the account themselves. I've since heard of other VIP accounts deleting after a certain time.

My question is, who decides what defines 'lifetime', and what happens regarding refunds for lifetime memberships that are voided? It seems somewhat like a conflict of interest to delete an account that goes idle, and then making the user re-register and pay more money.

Thoughts?

Interesting. Thanks. They did not make such a FAQ visible when I purchased my own VIP. Would you happen to be aware of at what point the FAQ and conditions were set in place?

im sure they did, yet didnt make vip purchasers aware it was readable in a different place than on the vip purchase page, why they do that i have no clue. however you & other users had to agree to the terms of service and since its laid out in brief there, if fighting the system is what your after, it will be an uphill battle.

historically, orange colored names, vip purchase, purchase for added features whatever youd like to call it has been treated as a donation to the site. if you feel as if youve wasted money the suggestion has always been not to put forth more money.

It's a users choice to purchase a VIP. Also a users choice not to use the account again.

Thus it's all up to the user if they want to lose their purchase or not.

Just like everything else online. Different accounts require new purchases.

No one has thus far been able to tell me how "lifetime" has been decided, or when those terms were decided.
I'm trying to get an answer from those who actually made those decisions. It is important.

It's not the money. I've already paid for one of them to get their VIP back.

You’d need to ask the owner about that. But yeah even VIP accounts delete due to inactivity but they last so much longer than normal accounts. Even mod accounts delete due to inactivity
