First I want to say I agree that people regardless of gender shouldn't be treated any less equal. As you know, I've been in Girls Chat for a very long time and have met a few really decent guys that just kick back and talk about every day common things. Here is where the problem lies, male domination. There are a few male users, who on a daily basis, make the room highly uncomfortable for the female users, especially the under 18 crowd. I've never once been again the "Guys are welcome as long as respectful" rule. That is more than fair. However when that rule is taken advantage of, that is where I and I believe many others have an issue. A male user even has "Its a General Chat 🙄" as his "mood' just to troll the females and make everyone feel uncomfortable. I'd think a lot has to do with the sense of seeing a male troll, then hide behind the "man hate" card being played when a complaint has been made against said user. On the exact topic of that side room, I also see your point about fake profiles and all that, but I do believe a lot can be spotted rather easily. I feel like if the Girls Chat staff feels up to it, maybe a chance should be given. On another positive note, I believe it would also help cut down on the complaints of both "guys in a girls rule" and "man hate". All i know, the above mood I mention was brought to even my attention by quite a few female ******** as a massive turn off of the room. I hope everyone knows by now I just simply like that room and want to see it succeed. I have no issues with anyone based off gender, race, religion, or any thing of the sort. A fun environment is all I, and I believe the vast majority in Girls Chat want.
