Sadly that is the truth, haha. Oh well, I guess we just move on from it when we can and hope for the best 😀

Why make a boys room just for boys in girls chat? You can do that in boys room if you want a boys room in a girls chat makes no sense u can either chill in main in girls room or go to boys chat or boys room in a boys chat 🤷🏽♀️
The owner dont see it that way 🤣

Okay if you want me to: did you know only 1 out of every 100 sperm whales produce ambergris? 1kg of ambergris is worth 50,000$ but this gold mine has been made illegal for preservation of marine life although ambergris is legit puke.. people would kill the whales to go into their stomach and try to find ambergris. Fun fact of the day (idk if u knew so here is something you might not know)

They are not excluded from the main room but girls would like a place to go without guys there to interfere with what we want to talk about. We can't say anything without them turning it into something sexual. It's not fair to us and it's disgusting

Its not about guys being perves etc its about a space where younger one feel safer even having these guys on ignore they can still be seen in the rooms list. We are losing ******** because of this issue to other sites that are no longer small fry who offer rooms for girls only. Many of us are sick of friends leaving for these sites.

At the end of the day this isn't a guy hating exercise.
Its an attempt to help chat ave to improve its product and retain more ********. Id suggest we have lost at least 30 or 40 relative regulars including VIPs who paid a monthly subscription since I joined Chat ave, who knows how many from the past few years. (Regulars being girls who were in daily for at least a few weeks.). I couldn't count how many guest have come in commented that its not really a girls chat and left.
Its an attempt to give what so many in girls chat ask for on a daily basis.
Its an attempt to allow some girls who feel intimidated for various reasons by guys in the room to have a place they can chat in relative peace..
The ignore and report features are great but not enough to deal with the real issues some have in our room.
It wont affect the guys who do come to our room as the girls who would use it wouldn't talk to them anyway.
It will resolve conflicts within the room especially the ones involving certain guys who are clearly there to cause friction in the room but are skating the edge of the rules and we cant deal with them as a result.

That right there is a big deal. Both staff and regulars alike are trying to keep things together while certain individuals are clearly out trying to tear the room apart. Take last night (Eastern US Time), one of the most known troublemakers we have had set for a good 45minutes (at least) encouraging a racist fight between two other ********. Did he make racist comments himself? No. Did he take sides? No. But he encouraged it to keep going and even made comments like "I'm only here for the drama:. It's things like this which ********, especially the younger ones, see and then turn around and don't come back. We had steady numbers for a while all throughout the day, that has drastically changed. As @ZombiUnicornis said, nobody wants males excluded from the room. That is indeed wrong and should never take place. With that being said, I wonder if some sort of compromise can be found until things get sorted out because while my opinion may not mean much, what I do for a living I see this every day and its hard to watch sometimes. Report? Absolutely! Ignore? Absolutely! Those things do impact the situation in a positive light, but only a temporary thing as blocks last a month and there are a few who even go off on guest accounts to keep on bothering people. In no way shape or form will I ever condone somebody being treated differently because of their gender and I truly believe everyone who has commented on this in support feels the same. Also, just to back that up, plenty of females cause trouble too so we know it's not just guys 😛

Well under current conditions it does serve a good purpose and the room appears to be safeand well managed. I will keep an open mind and will monitor how it goes and will report back here with how it progress
