Not religious at all but believe in god, put another way I don't allow institutional Christianity to interfere with my beliefs ( or institutional anything) impede my search for the creative force of the universe(s) so I have read the bible many times and pondered what it meant without asking the church to think for me. And I read the early church fathers, the excluded gospels, and various works of Hindu and Buddhist faiths. Tried to read the Quoran but concluded it was a philosophical kind of hijacking of Christianity.

No. I grew up in the ruins of the soviet bloc. Religion was unofficially banned, so my parents weren't religious, so I wasn't raised religious.


It didn't help that my grandmother was really into Egyptian history and used to tell me stories from the book of the dead. Eventually, I started asking myself who is to say one god is real and one isn't. You can't know that you're believing in the correct god. If every religion's holy book is the one true word of the one true god, then it's highly likely that none of them are.
