Helloooo CA Forums! I was reading somewhere about polls, which used to be an option here, and a few of you (us) would like to see them back as would I. So I am looking for some of your thoughts and feedback on this so CM can see that there is a group of people asking for their return and that way we might get them.
I'll ask him to bring them back but before I do it would be good if there was a thread I could refer him too demonstrating the support for the return of the poll option. Which is what this thread is all about.

Leave your comments and feedback here please or show your support for the poll option return by simply giving this post a like.

Let's bring back the polls!

Its a tool like anything else. If you don't understand how to use it then leave it in the tool box. Wouldn't it nice to know how the ******** in your room feel about a particular person before making a decision? I understand that some people like the absolute power to make decisions based on what they thing they know is best for the community but an educated decision is a much better decision, and if you can not understand how this would help in that process well then I'm sorry.

Although you'll never stop trolls from abusing the system, if the poll also tracked who voted what, an educated interest could easily be found.

That would’ve been amazing when they made a poll about me being the biggest twat and the only option was to vote for me 😰😔😂
 
With all due respect to my esteemed leader for this proposal, it seems to have gone off the rails like a downhill train wreck.

why? Isn’t discussing reasons for approval/disapproval of polls not allowed to be shared? If so, that would include you for posting a link to the UK safety to someone who lives in the UK. So, take your pick.

Perhaps I wasn't clear about what I was calling a train wreck - it wasn't this forum thread, it was the initial idea itself, which might be considered me sharing my opinion for for the initial idea.

As to me posting the link to UK Safety, I'm sorry if that offended you. I won't post anything like that again.
 
You didn’t offend me. Just want to make that clear and I’m not annoyed. I guess we both misread. See, I am reasonable (for all you all old regs!) 🤪 Anyway, end of just wanted to say that and again no need to be sorry for posting a link that may benefit someone.

We should take a poll to see if discussing reasons fro approval./disapproval of poll are not allowed to be shared.

Little update I heard back from CM regarding the polls and he said they should be enabled, I've since sent him a message with SS's showing they are no where to be found. So hopefully next time he's online he'll fix it.

I thought they are ?? Looks like its enabled on some of the sections only though. (this is Boys section)
